2023 Senior Lunch and College Decision Day at The John Cooper School
"To class of 2023, thanks for setting records. But more importantly, thanks for the honor of being a part of your story, of your journey. We can’t wait to see what you do next," said Laura Schroeder, Director of College Counseling.
This senior class is one for the record books. At 126 students, they’re our largest class ever, and they applied to 223 different colleges- the most of any Cooper class. They’ve earned impressive All State accolades as musicians and notched titles as athletes. They’ve founded non-profits, volunteered thousands of hours-literally-and published their writing in magazines. And they’ve led discussions on literature and mastered the derivative, so they’re well-prepared to take a record number of AP exams next week. It’s only fitting, then, that as May 1st approaches, marking the national college decision day, that this class’s college decisions would be ones for the record books, too.
