That's why we have therapy now for example. There are milions ways to heal yourself. You are not responsible for scars that someone gave him. But you are responsible for scars you are giving others. It's your choice. To work on yourself or to be aware of hurting others and still doing it. It's your decision. Don't blame it on your scars.

I've been there. Most of this song is pretty spot on about my past too as well as I am sure it is for a lot of people out there. BUT we CAN do something about it. Stop hurting the next one. And work on yourself in the meantime as well as during your relationships. We can ALWAYS do something about it. You have definitely have the power to do so. 💪

It's very true, i have tried to be in a relationship twice after i broke up with the first one, and i hurt them badly, it's not that i hurt them deliberately and purposely, it's just that i couldn't gave them the patience, the forgiveness that i have unconditionally given to the first one. Sure there's no perfect relationship, it's given, and it's not them to be blame, cos i have learned from my first one is that forgiving is part of loving. So i cut it off, i don't wanna fool anyone neither myself. That's why here i'm single and healing with God's grace and provision, never allowing myself to hurt anyone again... Until i'm ready again to love and be loved. ฅ'ω'ฅ Godblesss
@@r-veegailtimtim9350 I definitely feel like I am in the same situation because my toxic ex kept messing with me while being a new relationship and I ended up hurting that new relationship because he wouldn't leave me alone and let me think that it was okay when I knew deep down it wasn't and I was breaking myself everyday with it. I am still trying to heal a bit from the pain I caused to the new relationship at the time because I definitely felt like they were my soulmate and to tell the truth I still do even if I have to wait and learn my old lessons all over again from it
@@gonedead8479 lmao, just like my ex when i was in my new relationship, my ex will always stick around, that is because i was having Long distance relationship with the new guy... Though i never hid anything about it, i just explained to the new guy that my ex kept coming to check on me, i guess out of habit, we have been together for more than 4 years and the fact that we're childhood friends we also became each other's constant person througout those years. So despite of ending our romantic relationship, i and my ex respected the need of still being in the presence of each other, but it is less romantic like we were before until everyone moved on..
@@gonedead8479 you know, before i even let my self in to that new relationship, i was actually refusing his feelings for me, because i told him frankly that i am a broken girl, that my heart is still wounded, and that my ex will always have a part in my heart no matter what, just that we can't be together anymore.. That new guy accepted me openly, promised to be there for me while i'm healing, promised to wait for me.. But it wasn't a good idea, cos while i'm healing with my past relationship, i've been experiencing stress in that new relationship, i said this ain't gonna work, i have consumed all my energy from that past relationship and then now also? So i asked him let's just end this, he kept asking for forgiveness, sure i gave him, but twice or thrice is enough, it's too much for me to carry all the loads, but he don't wanna let me go, and he became that someone i never wanted to be with in my whole life.... After all i never blame anyone for all of this failed relationship happened to me. I just thanked God for opening my eyes to the roots of this problem. And i thanked God for showing me that unconditional love i'm always searching for when i was at very young age.

May god remove your pain, worries and problem and replace them with health happiness and peace ❤❤
