Yes, hahaha, some kids may get annoyed by them but it's really helpful to get someone that really know what's an adulting could be... especially when you are earning young..in some reality they get broke as they age because of bad spending habits ^^

I had the same spending habit as him before but I learnt my lesson~ now when I want to buy something, I will asked myself 3 questions .. Do I need it? Will I be using it often? Can I make do if I dont buy it now?.. If I want to go on a vacations, I'll save money atleast 3 month prior.. If depression hits and I need something to cheer me up, only then I will buy something that's sentimental for me..

I think the difference is, older generations, they think about the future a lot, so they save up to have a better life at 40 or have enough for helping their kids but gen z/alpha prioritize being happier in the present, prioritizing OUR happiness rather than thinking too much about future, we have like a 'live life at the moment'/'you only live once' attitude. I feel like nothing is the wrong or right way about how you choose to live your life, at the end its your choice.
i see so much of my dad in kim jong kook. on one hand, being frugal is not a bad thing in life, but i was also eating a lot of expired foods because my dad just never threw things away. winters were always tough because you expect a warm home to come home to, especially when we were able to afford it and it was always as cold as being outside. it kinda just felt like i had to relearn how to actually live after moving out.
I want a man like kim jong kook 😆❤ but seriously he is so mature , sweet , humble , loyal and generous ... he faced a lot in his life yet he knew how to deal with it with a smile on his face and move on ... also he is a frugal not stingy ( the stingy one wont spend anything on anyone ) while kjk is so generous , i really respect the way he live his life
the thing is he is quite extreme tho, he nags a lot to his mom when his mom doing dishes because she use a lot of water. you can see it on other show. but i also believe to certain extent he is right lol

Like the photos. I can understand most of his points, but sometimes he gives me the vibe of “back in my day I had to struggle, so you should to.” Overspending being too frugal are the same.
During my study, i rent a room for myself.. and from that i feel privacy won't matter anymore.. because it cost a lot of money to rent, worst to rent a whole house to live alone... better live with parent for awhile, it saves a lot of money unless you have broken family or want to avoid dispute.. you can help your parent, pay some utility bills.. it cheaper than renting outside
Me, as a 33 years old, spending my money sometimes on unnecessary things but at the same time managing my finances 😂😂 I think I discovered the solution to my money problems. I will learn good from these guys and I will keep the stingy path from now on.
Im a stingy type of person in terms clothing and styles,😅 i prefer simple that i can wear everyday and also get used. Like for a year, i only buy 2pairs, and a shoes that can be pair to any dress i wore..😊 you can save from it. But in terms of food i dont save😂😂😂😂
honestly, especially for ramen, the expiration is very loose. I have eaten some that was about 1.5 years expired and it was perfectly fine. the one I ate after over 2 years was still ok, but just a little bit worse than it would have been originally
Actually ac or not, it's the industrialization that causing the global warming... having more communities than trees.. If I could make a law, I would suggest that every house should have 1 tree planted.... HAHAHA imagine how many that could be... and if you are in an apartment, the surrounding of it should have trees.. HAHAHA it's could be nice as background decor.. (well businesses always think how an empty space could be used.. but if it's in the law? on the very first time...humans perspective would have changed.. )

You are the one that contribute to the growing of fast fashion, industrilization, global warming and pile waste at the landfill. Alot of dried and canned foods have a long shelf life which lasts far past the due by date. By years, not months. You people are soft and have never struggled
