Looks great, but: Very slippery. When you shake it (not strong!), the cards fall out. The lid is wobbling. The edges are like a razor.

I've never had an issue with it even in cold CO winter. They do include a little traction sticker you could put on if you have sweaty hands etc.

Embossed cards don't have to be metal, they're just cards with the raised lettering

Metal cards are thicker than plastic ones, I have a metal chime card that is thicker than regular cards but has no raised letters but it’s about the same thickness as a card with raised letters

Nifty function and got one when I saw it. I am indeed impressed with the mechanism and how easily one can retrieve cards. Additionally, it seems like a tank in terms of securing the cards. The cons? Well, I am underwhelmed by the weight of the wallet. In this era of minimalist wallets, the weight is something that I count. I'm aware that mileage varies and some may like the weight but I thought I'd mention this. It weighs in at 88g and with 5 cards which is all mine took without the mechanism getting stuck, weighed in at 108g. The sticker to deal with the slipperiness is not durable and started flaking at the edge with just my getting accustomed to the mechanism. I'd suggest not using it and just getting a finger towards the bottom of the sliding door. With two hands it's dead easy. The Groove life is a mixed experience with distinct pro's and cons. This is one where the mileage will certainly vary especially when compared to other designs in the minimalist wallet category.

Super wild to me that anybody could even notice that miniscule increase in weight over whatever they typically carry in their pocket. That's some real princess and the pea shit. I dunno, but probably don't complain about a couple grams, ever, about anything. Or just keep sitting behind your desk and remain silent. That fucking complaint is legit my only trigger in the world lol. How much unnecessary shit have you been tricked into carrying, or how despicably frail are you that a 5g increase in wallet weight is even close to an issue, and furthermore feel zero shame in even bringing up?

How secure are the cards? If they are in the wallet and you shake the wallet will they fall out?

The cards are very secure, I've never had one or any fly out.

their is a feature on the wallet where the corner opens and closes to keep the cards secured the corner is curved over to help keep any card from sliding out. He didn't highlight that in the video.
