  • The suspect accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022 is making a second attempt at getting the charges thrown out.
Bryan Kohberger, 29, is charged with four counts of murder and one count of burglary in connection with the stabbing deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
Kohberger tried to get the charges thrown out before, and he’s asking again to have the indictment dismissed, claiming there was improper conduct during the grand jury proceedings.

THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE DEMOLISHED THE HOUSE BEFORE THE TRIAL. What an ASSININE thing to do. It just made it feel like they were trying to hide something. I don’t think anything like this has ever happened in a murder trial before.

His parents and siblings are doing just fine & aren’t in any way going to attend or worry about the trial. Ethan is gone & he’s not coming back. The family has moved on & more than anything wants to ensure the proper person is prosecuted, not someone they have very little evidence against. His parents aren’t looking for any closure & it’s something you never get once you’ve lost a loved one, a child, doesn’t happen. They are very intelligent people & set up a foundation for kids to go to college & how I personally know her.

No, the defendant needs a fair trial . Those murdered are gone they no longer care about anything. The families need the closure but they need a fair trial to happen above anything. Don't confuse this with we need to have a speedy , unfair trial for the victims families. No we need to see the proof.
If the victims families were on trial for a wrongdoing, they would want and deserve a fair trial.

Don’t think he’s made up that way nor does the state have any evidence linking him, other than the “touch DNA” that could’ve come from any one of the detectives, any of the household members, as they all shop and live in that same small area. They’re not going to be able to get a conviction on what they currently have as evidence when they don’t plan on even using the touch DNA, allegedly, even at the trial.

So instead of seeing the defendant (along with family members in the gallery) as human, we get to see an entire trial where the main character is Judge John Judge. He's center stage with camera focused on him & only him as if he is the most important person in this trial - which is not true, obviously.
We cannot see the states witnesses or prosecutors up close, we cannot see the defense attorneys or defendant up close, we cannot see the micro expressions on anyone's faces except Judge John Judge's which doesn't matter.
It is never a good thing to have the state control the flow of information. The press should be suing.

If the defense can delay this trial for 10 years they will do it because this is a death penalty case and the lawyers realize that the convicted killer will get the death penalty.

Oh he's loves the attention. You do not have to be a behaviour scientist to notice his behavior in court. There is a huge difference in being a loner, living a quiet lonely life with few friends, and being shy, withdrawn and shadowing from society. BK simply had difficulties making relationships, due to being slightly odd, according to neighbours and former classmates and pupils. He didn't chose the lonely quiet life. Now he's in the center of attention, and he likes it.

What is clearly going in is I think the defense team is hopping there is a plea deal, the longer this is delayed the longer we might have a deal where he gets credit for time served. They should have tore it down from inside out, because the killer if Kohberger could have hide the knife anywhere behind a wall, under a sink were there are holes around pipes, just anywhere that police may have not looked. Why did the University insist on it be demolished? That move makes me a bit at odds. Yes it is a memory of that horrific attack on 4 young people, but it was just too fast in my opinion! Talk about the judge not wanting "manipulation" of the public, by no camera on BK!!! As far as am concerned it's shocking, it's giving privileges (like wearing A SUIT) to the highly suspect in this case, I mean, like protecting his character, ???? It is, as you rightly say, vital for people to see his facial reactions, comportment, body language, especially as regards a psychopath!!! Can't believe how much 'favor' the Defence gets, and how 'controlling' this judge really! Is that part of a FAIR TRIAL??? Not according to MY values, Godly values I might add! There are people in the hearing willing to talk. California has changed it's law making it even easier to conserve an unwilling person. After what happened with Britney Spears that upsetting.

Omitted to say am also against a proviso of keeping SILENT in answer to the plea question. It should be Guilty or Not Guilty, no abstaining from answering, which then is automatically turned into a Not Guilty! So why not way I plead Not Guilty??? Ridiculous! It's like here in the UK, under arrest, the suspect has got the right to say " no comment"??? I find that very irrational! Why should a suspect not answer a police officer/inspector's question, in order not to increminate him/herself??? If you are suspected of wrong doings, you should be made to answer every interview question, as a matter of course, or it's a travesty of procedures. Giving the enemy every possibility to wriggle itself out of trouble, is not ethical, or FAIR!!! Bless you JB, you are so excellent! Blessings from Line-Marie, Leeds, England, United Kingdom
