One of my favourite moments in this concert is when Elvis say "I think I'm going to put a strap on this guitar and stand up." and the girls went ballistic, he just said he was going to stand up and the flipped. That is power.
Reconsider Baby is a great blues song by Elvis with Boots Randolph on the Saxophone. Wooden Heart is a song Elvis sang while in the Army in Germany. He does it in English and German doing a puppet show for children.
I've never even been that huge of an Elvis fanatic but when I hear him sing live OMG literal shivers. Like damn. Whoa

Paul McCartney said several times that He liked the music of Elvis before he entered the Army. But I never heard what he thought of the 68 Special. A lot of the pre-Army Elvis music was on display --just powered up.

Another one youll really like is "Tryin to get to You" from this same '68 performance. Also a couple great songs from the Aloha Hawaii special are "American Trilogy" as well as "My way" and pretty much anything else from the Aloha Hawaii special - it was the first worldwide satellite concert in history, audience of 1.6 billion, that was huge in the early 70's. Also if ya havent seen the Vegas performance of "Suspicious minds" its a fan favorite. Also "Steamroller Blues" is a good one
