The latest euro standards are going to make it difficult to go faster than the detected speed sign / gps data for the road. Driving is to be controlled, automatic, soulless and most likely the preserve of the well off only.
Khan wants PPM because the LEZs will soon be generating little or no money as more and more vehicles fall out of the emissions trap. PPM means that EVERY vehicle will have to pay, so more income!

So the 20mph Zones will make your journey times longer from A to B. Hence TFL will make more money. Along with holding traffic up with is ‘Scoot’Traffic Light Computer system. Now that could be access to your online smart cars Sat Nav through the cars IP address. When questioned TFL would not answer.
