No, Thank YOU! Saved me over a minute. 😂

Do I flip it like 8 mins in?
@@milli2901She says no need to flip at all. So no flip
I just found your channel looking for a way to make bacon in the oven. You were right to the point without yelling, loud music, or telling me a story about how your ancestors used to make and cook bacon. I just wanted to cook bacon in the oven and you showed me how in less than two minutes and it came out great. thanks.
It really is an absolute breath of fresh air.
I was looking for a recipe to cook bacon in the oven this morning 🌄, perfect timing, thank you! No need for people to make negative comments, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything....
Parchemnt paper in rimmed baking sheet, oven at 400°F, 10-15m and flip once or twice
She said rotate not flip
@@_clickbait_2108 I tried them both and flipping the bacon over works best to get a good crispy bacon.
@@f1948s 🥓 a flip is worth a shot
More helpful than her 🤣
You gonna make me flip out
My grandmother who is from North Carolina Would sprinkle Brown sugar on top of the bacon before baking. And then use the drippings to make fried potatoes. That stuff was so good you change religions for a plate of it !😁 Good Vibes 👣
Well now, lookie here. Just be sure your hogs aren't on meth.
Mmmm, that sounds delicious 😋. I just may have to try that.
Well, I gave it a try I lightly sprinkled brown sugar over the bacon before I cooked it for BLTs tonight and the bacon was so good. No idea on the grease my wife said she would save it for later to try to make the potatoes with.
Thank you.
that sounds fire
Gonna try this tonight and see if it works and will update with a review.
I've baked crispy bacon in the oven for many years and her instruction is spot on. No splatters, crisp bacon. I always use non-stick foil for maximum yield of the liquid gold bacon fat for future use to pan fry HEAVENLY eggs. I've found my cooking time to be a bit longer than hers but that depends on your oven and personal preference.
I have never tried to cook bacon in the oven but I was looking for a tutorial on TH-cam and finally someone puts one up that actually tells me how to do it right away and only 2 minutes long. Thank you! Bacon in my salad tonight 😁
This is exactly what I'm about to do right now! 😅
@@oooni How was the bacon? I loved it in my salad.
Exactly what I was going to say!
All answers on TH-cam!
Somehow a 2 minute video is half filler
She’s a professional yapper
Like 3/4 filler
When you get paid by the minute, a little yapping is understandable
That's how you know it's only :45 worth of information
I think it’s ok. At least it’s like still relative to the subject.
Quick and to the point, more youtubers need to take a note. Thank you.
its 400 for 10-20 minutes, there I saved everyone from having to watch the video
Quick and to the poi- she didn’t start cooking the bacon until the last 40 seconds of the video lmaooo
Could have been quicker if you start at 1:10
TH-camrs have such long videos because they get paid more the longer the viewers watch.
It only took her 2 minutes to tell us how to do this..
Some youtubers are extra and it takes them 30 minutes to get to the instructions.
That's so true
Yeah , it’s why I subbed! I hate that!!
I refuse to watch videos where they try to make it into a movie production with 2 minutes of music in the beginning (which I usually don't like), then 5 minutes of talking about themselves before beginning the recipe. I just refuse to watch it because there are plenty of the same recipes on TH-cam without all the hype.
@@Donna9600 you did the same thing with your comment lol
Oh I know... that’s why I’m subbing too.
1:06 - You're welcome
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
lmao videos can never be short enough
Man she said quicky😂
You can also cover the bacon with a piece of parchment paper to ensure no splatter on the inside of your oven.
Yeah, I couldn’t believe she didn’t do that.
Tried this on Saturday. Will never cook bacon on the stove top again. The bacon came out perfect! Absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!!
I just made this. The bacon turned out great! It was crispy and cooked evenly with minimal cleanup. Thank you for the tutorial.
Yay! Glad this worked out for you 😊
Yes it DEf took 25 mins for myself
I love learning useful information from such a well-spoken and beautiful woman. She’s much better looking than Gordon Ramsey.
This is a game changer! TYSM for an on point, quick vid that gives all the needed info. I'm cooking bacon in the oven to make us BLT & avocado sandwiches. Sooo good.
Bacon that is cooked in the oven is magically cooked evenly I love it this way !
Absolutely Love this video! I always wondered why more people don't 'bake' their bacon! Seems so much less messy and 'safe' than the stove-top method!
I agree - let's spread the word! :)
Keith Bardwell ur ovens fucked
OMG I tried this and it was PERFECTION! Wish I had seen this video years ago! The bacon stayed straight, it was exactly the right doneness and the mess was easy to clean up! I used foil in my pan and covered lightly with parchment paper (safe to 420 degrees!) Thank you so much for this quick, but very useful video, Lisa! Can hardly wait for the cookbook!
Glad your bacon turned out perfectly Barbara 😊
What a fantastic way to cook bacon. It tastes better (evenly cooked & crisp) as well as cutting down bacon smells in the home. Thank you so much for showing me this technique.
I'm about to try this to cook bacon for my bacon-cheddar quiche tonight. Short, sweet, and to the point. I also love that you put your self-promotion at the end instead at the start. Thank you.
Hope this recipe worked out perfectly for you Michael!
I tried this method today for the first time as it's Mothers Day and all the family was here. I had a second tray as well where I cooked the bacon on a rack in a tray, as recommended on another YT video. We all agreed the wire rack method gave a better result with a good measure of crispness and a little more flavor in the meat. The first test on the baking paper alone I would never do again - it resulted in the bacon getting a noticeable fatty taste, not surprising seeing as it was frying in a sea of fat in the tray, not the healthiest way to prepare food. Thanks kindly for the video, it definitely helped, even though another way gave a better result..
I have been doing bacon in the oven forever. I have done air fried bacon..pan fried....steam cooked and so on. However, I find doing in the oven makes it come out perfectly tender but crisp enough. Its perfect bacon for groups, but I prefer to cook a whole package up to save on time for future meals for just myself.
Great way to cook bacon without a mess. I cooked it for seven minutes then turn the pan around for another seven. When I open the door. It wasn’t cooked enough for me so I turn the oven off and let it sit for another five. It was perfect. Thank you so much.
Cooks the same regardless of direction brain trust
You made my day! ❤ Tried this today with my son and he loved it so much!
I love cooking bacon in the oven also and do it the exact same way! Easiest and least messy way I know of to cook it!
And less mess is always better! ;)
PSA - times and temps depend on your oven . Just be careful the first few times when using this method. Make sure to preheat your oven before putting bacon in oven.
1:06 to save you time.
Ok ok ok - you guys got me. I made bacon in the oven for the first time today, and it came out perfect
What magical oven are you using? Your 15 minutes was 30 for me haha
Put it on 400 f
Same with me, maybe because it was thick-cut bacon ?
@@jimseviltwin1 I used thick cut and didn’t rlly have a problem
Mines was 20 minutes
Oven temperatures are not always accurate.
Thank you for showing us this. We are cooking so much more at home, because it is TOO EXPENSIVE for Middle Class to eat Fast Food or at Restaurants anymore.
I always get nervous cooking bacon in a pan as I’m worried about getting burned by flying drops of grease, plus my apartment smoke alarm is so finicky it might get set off when frying anything. I always trust your method!
I’ve been cooking bacon in the oven for awhile now, & I’ve never used parchment paper. I use a rack on a sheet pan. I might try the parchment paper next time & see how it goes.
Thank you I just had my first experience cooking bacon in the oven. It turned out perfect
1:06 to get to the point
When I was a cook I would make dozens of trays of bacon in the oven every morning.
@raytucker1954 I cooked for a university. 600 covers bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes & fruit took me about 2 hrs. with a prep guy.
I’m a little curious. If you have cooked bacon in the oven before why are you watching this video? No hate I just have no idea how someone would get to a bacon oven tutorial without searching for it lol
I can't cook bacon every morning and clean after myself.
But 10 min in the oven? During which I can brush my teeth?
I can do that no problem.
I'm gonna go try that method right now.
Cheers!
2 mins is not the end of world guys!
I watched this after doing a search for this very thing. I checked out your page and skimmed through your other videos. Without even watching them, I could tell this was the place for me. Subscribed. Thanks!

I would like to agree with previous comments . Quick and to the point. Thank You
I had to make 7 pounds of bacon, I used this video and it all came out AWESOME
I love this bacon 🥓 recipe! I’m actually making it now, it’s the best one out there. I always reference your video when I cook bacon
Aw, happy to hear that! I love bacon as well 😂
During the video, You mentioned a video about rendering bacon fat from this method. Am I missing it?
I love cooking bacon in the oven but I usually use my broiler pan and that's a pain to clean! I'm going to try your method. Thanks for the tip!
Yes, cooking bacon in the oven is bar far the speediest when it comes to clean up!
Thank you. I had been cooking on a jerky tray in the oven. It's amazing how much better and easier it is with the parchman.
Thanks. It was very simple...and no splatter. I did find, however, that it took substantially longer than the 15 minutes for crispy bacon. At 15 minutes, it wasn't even close to done. I am cooking extra thick bacon so I assume that takes longer, and I like mine VERY crispy, so it took over 30 minutes in my gas oven and I did turn the pan once around the 10 minute mark. It was perfect when done, though. Suggestions?
I did this for the first time. It worked out fantastic!!! Thank you!
The "how" starts @ 1:07.
Thank you! That was so easy and SERIOUSLY no cleanup!!! 🩵
Delicious bacon and great video! Thank you!
Thank you for this baking tip. I just discovered your site. Looking forward to many new meals.
Save your oven, put another piece of parchment paper on top. It will cook exactly the same. Thanks 😊
Love way cook bacon in oven turns out good and short time than cooking on stove in pan thank you keep up with videos ken
I've been cooking my bacon like this for over 50 years,, Except no Parchment Paper or flipping the bacon..Works perfectly every time,, UNLESS of course (as ive done a few times) you forget about it for a few minutes,, Then,, Not so perfect. 😒😮💨😪
Thank you for a simple, to the point video! New subscriber 😊
I don’t know what’s more yummy 🤔
Bacon or🤗
At 1 min into video I got info. pan parchment 400 degrees till done ok rest is fluff!
Did I miss something ? What setting &/or temp do you set the oven on ??
1:15
Please make a video (just like this) showing how to save the bacon grease. Also, as a suggestion, use parchment paper over the bacon, and it will not splatter in the oven. Maybe, test the times and temperatures, then give those to us also. I don't think you are doing that in this video.
Cooking bacon tonight. Can't wait until it's done
When cooking bacon on the stove I cover unused portion of stove with aluminum foil
I'll probably never pan cook bacon on stove again. Glad I come across your video. Thank you ❤❤
I like to keep the bacon fat/GREASE to cook other things with. Does baking it make it impossible to save it?
Finally!!! Enough of the 15 min videos of how to toast bread
Wow it is so much better I think I'll always be doing this
Great video, thanks for posting!
A quickie? Yeah, she knows what she’s doing.
Thank you for this video. I appreciate you for taking the time to do the things you do to help others.
Glad this video was helpful!
I love your efficiency.
Very simply done!
Thank You
When I cooked 2 slices of bacon in the oven as a test, it didn't produce any grease? Any reason for that?
I'm making some chicken bacon ranch casserole so I'm gonna do this :) thank you so much
Perfect timing Allison! 😊
@@Downshiftology bonus..my whole house smelling like bacon lol
Thank you, is it the same for turkey bacon?
Now that looks like perfect bacon!!
Perfectly crispy with no splattered mess 😉
Such a handy tip! Less mess to clean up too!
Definitely! Way less mess than the stove. :)
@@Downshiftology I prefer that to a messy oven, also easier to clean on the stove! Love your demo's, but. Can I tie your hair back??
Worked quite well for us, but it took a total of 24 mins. Easy though, will use this method again.
It's good to remember that every oven heats differently. But, I'm glad this method worked out great!
Making BLT sandwich for dinner. Will try your recipe for making the bacon!
Tried it tonight. Wonderful! I'll never use the skillet again.
What do I set the oven to
A lil late but 425 for 30 minutes
Excellent method. Thanks Phoebe.
Thank you girllllll.. been cooking it this way since I 1st say your video ❤
Now that, is an exceptional report there fella.
The best way to do it!!!!
Thank you so much. This method is perfect. Awesome video.
Glad this was helpful!
What temperature is that oven set to ?
425
Oven baked bacon is the only way I cook bacon. I never fry bacon because it doesn’t come out evenly cooked. Depending on the thickness of the bacon I’ll flip it but it’s not necessary. Also halfway through cooking I’ll strain off the grease and it comes out ultra crispy.
Hey! Loved the video. I just started making appearances in the kitchen, so I’m kind of a newbie. In which precise moment do you flip the bacon? When you already got 7 minutes? 6?
You don't need to flip it 😊
Awesome 🤩 thanks 😊
Off course a total meelf would start off with “it’s gonna be a quickie” 😂😂😂
Video starts at 1:06
Before I was veggie, the oven is the only way I would cook bacon. So much easier than in the pan!
Is that why no-one comes for breakfast anymore?
@@maxwellfan55 😂😂😂
May I ask what brand of bacon you buy? I always look for uncured but are there any other points you look for when buying bacon?
I'll usually buy Applegate Organics or Pederson Farms. I buy uncured and make sure it's organic. And double-check to make sure there's no unnecessary ingredients. :)
where is the bar with the planters behind you from? thank you for making the video quick to watch!
I like quickies thanks for the recipe
My pleasure 😊

Bacon, Eggs, Toast, & Juice? Or/And?
The best and easiest way to cook bacon! This is the only way I can have everything (pancakes or eggs) ready at the same time!
I'm the same! Otherwise it's one thing served at a time. ;)
that just looks so yummy. drools. can't wait to try it. :)
I appreciate the tutorial, but she spent the first 1min and 11 sec talking before she got to the tutorial and the full time of the tutorial is 1:57. This drives me crazy.
how lazy are you sir. free video, free information, and you can't be bothered to waste 2 minutes of your life. I came here to learn a better way to cook bacon and I have to read your lazy comment at the top of this perfectly simple video. You could have at least linked the actual time, which is 1:05, to help the next person but alas, all you wanted to do was complain. Do better AJGUY2008
@@CELLYgg There's a lot that I could say, but just like the first part of her tutorial it would be a waste of time. Also, to assume that I am lazy -- wow. Celly if you haven't noticed we have much bigger fish to fry these days because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. So this is what I will say to you I am very sorry that you felt that you had to defend this woman's tutorial and I will be sure that I choose words wisely so not offend anyone else as you have decided to offend me and my character by assuming that I am LAZY. My critique was not personal, but yours was. - have good life -- AJ

Totally agree. commented same then saw your comment.
@@pakblueman7468 Thanks I really appreciate that. Sometimes people get to caught up in the negative to listen objectively.
Does it still light up the house with a bacon fragrance in the oven?
should I turn on my oven on regular or convection bake?
Cool video! Short and clear!
When's Dinner? .... Thank you for the video.
Well, when you've never really cooked much, you get these issues
- put the oven tray too low, and it burned the bacon to a crisp, beyond eating texture
- next time, I put in two trays like you said, but one tray wasn't flat (one edge on top of the other tray), and smoke forensics concluded the bacon grease poured out the side that was lower, into the bottom of the oven, and the whole kitchen was a thick smoke of fog. Then I got banned from cooking bacon ever again.
*But I might beg forgiveness and just do one tray at a time.
Which level in the oven?
