Rach, I am a homebirth midwife and when my mama's get this swollen and their blood pressure goes up I suggest that they eat MORE protein and specifically EGGS. Eggs have albumin which is a medication they give people who are swollen and have fluid build up in conditions such as CHF. Just give it 24 hours. Eat eggs, 4 of them would not be two many, some bacon and later a large chicken breast and a steak. stay away from carbs and focus on protein to turn this around. Your body needs more protein! I know that probably seems wrong because one of the things about toxemia is that you have protein in your urine BUT the thing is that that protein is not dietary protein but protein from your organ tissues being broken down by the pregnancy seeking more protein by attacking your organs. SO if you feed yourself more protein Tada! it stops that process. Also, water! stop all other beverages and focus on water. Praying for you and your little family!

My granddaughter was singing we don't talk about Bruno the other day and her version had an f bomb in it. I had convince her that the songs lyrics were not f my brain but actually floods my brain. I still think it's hilarious. She is 5.
Every time I see you move and the kids always there and now Rachel about as swollen as can be I want to scream……where are all your friends, neighbors, navy buddies to help move . ????????I want an army of people to get it all in in an hour give them pizza . Then come on in ladies help put it al away and help you all get set for these babies so it’s not chaotic… 😭👵🏻❤️
That’s soooo true I guess this is the sad part about not having close friends
Family are helping, however, there is still a pandemic happening and having a lot of people helping when they are not in your bubble is problematic, especially when there is the extra risk to Rachel and the babies. They are moving slowly, in the way that is best for them, a little at a time so no-one gets over stressed or tired. Having an ‘army of people’ helping would just make more work for Rachel.
They don’t film everything you know 🤭😂 We didn’t even see the move so I’m going to guess they had plenty of help and Rachel was probably trying her best NOT to do too much…that’s difficult when you want to prepare the nest.

Well done on the move. Eloise's room looked lovely, love the pictures in the twins room. You could put thin wood beeding on the edge of the tiles and then paint it silver so it would match better with the chrome - just a thought :) Poor Iris bless her, glad the cats are settling in nicely. Be of good courage. You are on the home stretch! These last 'days' can be hard. I never had twins, you have been that route before. You have a lot more parenting expertise than the last time. Apparently you haven’t gotten the message from Rach that she doesn’t like being told to relax?
I just had blood pressure issues too so they delivered me at 37 weeks. My pressures stayed up after delivery so now I'm on meds. Hope yours gets better soon and those babies can stay in as long as possible.
One hour for the wardrobe is great. It took 3 of us 8 hours to put an ikea wardrobe together!
Yes, the cats just leave the rub marks....i could not figure how dirt got in those edges for the longest time...lol...our 1 cat loves to ride in the car, the other is the worst puke, howler,& pooper! Praying for ya! Let the next adventure begin!!!

You talking about Iris and car rides. Our cat Kono that we lost a couple weeks ago always peed in her crate on car rides so I put potty pads in with her. She did poop one time as well. I understand the rubbing on the walls and stuff making black marks. We have four cats now and I have to do a monthly get off the black crud. Love you guys and your kids. You make my day brighter.💜

I carried my twins to 32wks and began showing signs of pre-eclampsia and also early labor... at that point my doctor put me in and I stayed in for 2 more weeks before they determined I was way close to a possible stroke and also my boys had what they called twin to twin syndrome or that's what they called it here and 1 boy was getting so much bigger and taking all my other sons nutrients... and I kid u not I spent another 2 weeks in the hospital getting my blood pressure down enough to leave and I lost 70lbs of nothing but water in that 2 weeks... it was crazy... not to mention my boys weighed so far apart at 3lb5oz and 4lb10oz and spent 3wks in nicu because of what happened... this is just my personal experience I thought I would share... I was so thankful my doctor put me in at 32 weeks and watched me... I will be praying for you and your girls!
I don’t think it’s helpful to talk about scary experiences to a mama that is trying to carry jet babies as long as possible.

I don’t know if u will get that info, because Rach said recently on her video, that she doesn’t read the comments anymore. Sometimes the some of the comments are too criticizing of her, or Brad!! That would bother me too!! But on the other hand, it’s nice to read the good ones, and helpful advice! It’s a double edged sword, I guess!

Personally I think you need to be in the hospital for the rest of your pregnancy. I think that would be the safest place for and the babies because of your Bp going up!
Their videos are usually 3 weeks behind, she's probably had the twins by now. She didn't want to be on bed rest, laying in bed was uncomfortable.
I totally agree. Her legs were huge the last time they showed them. Swelling like that isn’t good.
The Hospital has more germs I think so they now avoid it if they can.

Its not really up to her they will only keep her if they must and if the obgyn, nurses think its good. Seriously, if you are in the hospital its cause they are wanting to monitor you not because you think its safer. She would be in the hospital if they were really concerned. Its never a personal choice for someone to decided to stay in the hospital, its always up to the doctor/ob.
I just realized yall need 10 car seats in order to have car seats in both vehicles. Goodness thats a lot. Glad y’all are moved Rachel get some rest. Brad is such a hard worker.

I can travel with both my cats and a cat stroller that I bought from Amazon when we have to take them to the vet because they like to be together versus being in separate cat carriers so neither one of them get sick thank god. But my cat Ruby has arthritis in her back right paw and I try giving her some Xhosa Quinn supplements and she turned her nose up and said nope so I don’t bother because it’s in virtually impossible to give a cat a pill like you said or any type of supplement or anything they just do not want it. So the next time I take her to the vet I’m gonna ask what the veterinarian recommends I do

Just a thought if Iris is leaving black marks where she rubs her chin over time,that may mean she has cat acne (black heads) on her chin. You can check out TH-cam videos to see how to clean her chin and how often, or talk to your vet. That way no more black marks.
I've heard not to feed cats out of plastic bowls as they add to acne issues.

When I started seeing floaters, my pressure got to 210/110. I was told then, do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to the hospital! I was toxic and pre-eclamptic. And by the way, my swelling was way worse after delivery.
Sounds like I had the same experience as you did. It was NOT fun at all. Especially the swelling after delivery! It was AWFUL!!!
I didn’t know the ‘stars’ I was seeing was bad. At 29 weeks I had to deliver because I had severe pre e. 12 years later, two more babies later, my kidneys and BP have never returned to normal…
@@danyellediguardia8833 mine either! I’m actually getting ready to have surgery to try to at least get things closer back to normal. Oddly enough, now my bp stays too low. Our bodies can do incredible things for sure but they can go haywire for sure too. Lol

Rachel said it's because Bear is the child that has the hardest time adjusting to change. So to keep it as normal as possible for him they decided to keep Lyndle and him in the same room for now.

If I would guess I would say because of the age difference between the two girls. One may have a different sleep schedule or something. It could be that the twins prefer to be together. I have twin boy/girl cousins and they wanted to be together until they got to about 10 or 11.
They could when the babies are bigger put the other baby’s bed in Eloise’s room move her in with Lyndall and Bear or put Bear in the small little room.
She said because Bear doesn't want to be in a room by himself.
Her name is Lyndle and Rach has already said why he’ll continue to share with his sister. Their choice, let’s respect that.

I think you personally have taken on way to much. Should of stayed in the cabin till after your delivery. It’s not like your so your pregnancy safe with all that you are doing. Bed rest and nooo activity.
@Robin Hutfilz go to 16:33 on their last video and listen closely to what Rach said and respect her wishes. She already has a doctor to tell her what she needs to do. A paid professional, not a stranger on TH-cam. They are going to live their life how they choose just like everyone else in this world. It’s not up to you to dictate what’s too much when it has nothing to do with you.
You need to buy Eloise a toddler bed, using her existing mattress. She’s getting too old and too big for that crib. Just an observation, not trying to be rude. And she can help you pick out what she wants. I think she would have a blast knowing that she is also being sweet on!!! 😀 (Especially since Bear and Lyndle received new bedding!!!)
You are not Eloise’s mother. Brad and Rach will decide when they are ready to switch her to a toddler bed. Especially when it comes to something that requires spending money, you don’t get to tell them what to do.
Not "her and I went to the cabin", try "she and I went to the cabin", or make it really simple and say "we went to the cabin". But definitely, Not "her and I" because the pronoun "her" is the objective of "she" ..... you need "she" with "I" because "she and I" are the subjects of the sentence (subjective pronouns before the verb). When in doubt which pronoun form to use, drop the pronoun "I" from the sentence .... that should immediately tell you which pronoun to use, You certainly wouldn't say "her went to the cabin" ..... I hope you wouldn't say "her went to the cabin".
