Eno is much more and much less than that... Eno was everywhere, Eno was nowhere... Which Eno are you referring to? ¿1972? 1975? 1977? 1978? From 1972 to 1978 he was in constant evolution, and he was present in all main innovations of the 70's... I think he introduced electronic music in britain before bowie, and with him. Kraftwerk and tangerine dream had some success in 1974... but not enough to inspire english people to create electronic music, before Eno did it... (and the song called "on some faraway beach", recorderd in september 1973, anf the LP "no Pyssyfooting in a more radical way, are clear precedents of ambient and electronic instrumental.. so, he was influenced, but he was moving in a concrete direction from 1973, and maybe even before, behind that temporal disguise of "glam rock star" (I have to say I love the four vocal LP's of ENO from 1973 toin 1977, even more that what he did later.
Masterpiece of ambience
The first 2 albums are really great, but this lil' beautiful thing is my favourite Neu, so mellow and peace filled.

They were masters of crescendo. Listen to "Weissensee" on the first NEU album.
This Track sounds like Music by Brian Eno.

Eno is basically sorta Krautrock inspired with a little Glam.
Eno was already popular by this point I think though so could actually be Eno inspired.
