Picked up the Anaconda from you guys. Tried it out at Catalina Island and caught a 40 lb yellowtail on it. Great lightweight rod. Sensitive with a lot of backbone. Works perfect for inshore fishing.
Finally a English breakdown of the line up! Any particulair reason for not including the Bearingdown? Beside the obvious fact the P5 jig rods are very hard to beat and don't leave much gaps to fill
I’ve had the Super Elseil for about 9 months now and it is a fantastic big jerkbait rod. Mine feels one notch heavier than the 110 Special and really shines with 3/4+ oz jerkbaits like the pointer 128, Jackal Squad Minnow, Ballisong Minnow, etc…. It has become my goto big jerkbait rod for stripers and brown trout.
Great video Ben. I love all megabass stuff but hands down the only rods i use is the P5 Super Destroyer hands down the most beautiful built rod megabass has done
Check out some of the Orochi XX rods. The Flat Side Special for example is a stand out to me that's not quite in the P5 line up. Ultimate Square Bill rod but throws variety of baits well. But yeah, the P5 fishes as good as it looks for sure. Great rods
Hoping to get a Cliffhanger for a versatile BFS rod. Small topwater, cranks, jerkbaits, finesse swimbaits, ned rigs, drop shot, etc. Handled the demo rod in your shop and it felt like a sick rod. I’ll pair it with the Aldebaran bfs.
Is the Bushadder not good as a primary jig and worm rod, then? I was looking to get one for that purpose. Would it be the equivalent of a FMJ (slack-line)?
Great stuff as always Ben. I had an ex girlfriend that did the axiel shake. Or maybe I'll start calling the store and asking how is the axiel shake on the Shimano Expride 6ft10 med heavy...........We could go a lot of different directions with this!!! Always enjoy the combination of learning and humor you bring to the table.
Video idea, "shop battle or teams shop battle" swamp survivor vs. destruction 66 with TK/small glides and swimbaits. To see which rod excels where, and why! I bet Geoff and Griff would do it! Haha just an idea.
I'm torn between a P5 Addermine, Landsat or X10 Medusa. Fishing from shore I'd like to be less than 7ft, I love the Whipsnake actions. I'd be fishing dropshot with 4-5lb line, hover rig, small neko and spybait.
Landsat is probably closest to the Whipsnake. I like my Addermine, but it is a bit heavy for my intended use (Dropshot). For me, Addermine is a good weedless DS rod, or smaller Neko bait rod.
Another great video. Which rod in the line is the closest to the dark sleeper in how it fishes. The dark sleeper is an amazing junk fishing rod so I am just wondering if there is a similar rod at a lower price point. Thanks
NGL the Matte Brown Varial goes really well with x10s, lemme know if you got a few more of those or are willing to part :D. Great vid as always...guess I'm getting a few of these.
Hey love the content u guys put out. It’s entertaining as well as informative. I would love to work there with u guys. I am from PA but would move out there lol.
Not sure if you will answer this question but I am deciding between the jade python and the wind buster. I mostly throw soft plastics and probably won't go above 1/4 oz weight. Which leans me towards the jade python but everyone just talks about how sensitive the wind buster is and I don't want to miss out on that sensitivity also I kind of like the versatility of the wind buster to also throw hard baits. Please give me some guidance on which I should choose.
How's the jig and worm sensitivity on the Bushadder? I just grabbed Orochi XX Perfect Pitch and Diablo Spec-R from you guys last week. I think I'm going to grab that Bushadder too.
That was the rod in the line that I was most interested in too. Should we infer from the silence that this was not one of the preferred models in this line?
If I want a rod as similar to Levante Leviathan as possible, only a tad stouter (out of every single megabass rod available outside of USA) wich one would that be? Black jack or Anaconda? The baccarac is to hefty and short. Much love. Emil
So if I understand correctly the Anaconda is advertised between 1 and 7 oz but it can ultimately only cast from 1 to 6 oz what is the point of overestimating the rod in this case Tell me if I'm wrong??
How would you rate the medusa to the 7’ Light Expride B? Looking for a more dedicated dropshot rod for mainly concealed nose hook and some texas rig. The ability to ned rig with it would be a plus too. The 7’ light expride B would be replaced with the medusa or another x10. Fishing in mainly grassy/mud and rocky bottom fisheries in the upper midwest. Thanks!
I love throwing a pitching jig, spinner bait and a vibrating jig, however I’m a bank angler and don’t enjoy carrying a ton of rods. Would the Bushadder be best for my applications or the Bandersnatch?
How is the “BEARING DOWN”? I didnt hear u guys talk about this one. Im going to buy my first very high end bougie rod. I was looking at destroyers, but now these have caught my eye and people say they are close to as good. What do you think? Should i pay the extra 100 ish for the destroyers? Im looking at the bearing down orochi x10, its a shorter jig and t-rig rod made for football jigs and downhill fishing. But also looking at an x-bites destroyer. I dunno i dont have a shorter jig rod, most my rods are 7’2 daiwas around that size. If i can save 100 buck and still have a very high end rod that can do lots of things….im good with it.
Did you ever figure out which Rod wanted? I’m in the same position as you? I’m intrigued by the bearing down especially since I kayak fish but I’m also tempted by that P5 FMJ.
Thank you so much for this roundup. If you are allowed (wink) could you give an insight about the rod weights? Megabass keeps this as a secret unfortunately...
I see that they can, I was more curious about the tip. I have the 7'3 daiwa tatula swimbait rod. But it can be a bit heavy and overpowering when it comes to twitching. Or treating the TK like a jerk bait. Hoping to find a bit more give in the tip in a shorter package.
Megabass rods totally overrated. Find out what you're looking for in a rod, buy the blank and build it yourself or a rod builder and you will have everything how you want it. I never buy another made rod again.
I’ve been anticipating this video so much that I fell on my knees and started crying when I saw it finally posted.
Sounds like you were very moved 🤘😜🍻
lol
Love your honesty and that you guys are willing to push the rods to let us consumers know what it’s capable of
Love the channel! Been waiting for this video since the news came out about the x10 US release!
Thank you for watching! 🍻
Beautiful description from Megabass. I feel it is showing Megabass is listening to culture as a whole. Looking toward the future.

Thanks for the download on the new series. Interesting additions in the Megabass line up.

Finally a English breakdown of the line up! Any particulair reason for not including the Bearingdown? Beside the obvious fact the P5 jig rods are very hard to beat and don't leave much gaps to fill
Mainly because it's not going to be a readily available model.

Going to grab a few of these already have a couple there absolutely legit!!!
Really wish there were more spinning rod models. A 7’2”-7’6” medium light spinning rod would be sweet.
Great breakdown’s of the X10’s! 🍻

Just got the swamp survivor delivered today and can’t wait to crack the whip! Thanks guys!
Man I wish they would've given Anaconda at least the same length handle as the Blackjack! They came so close to perfection on this one.
We have had a good start to Catfish Season in Buckeye, AZ

Nothing really like the Dark Sleeper. Most of the Orochi X10 and not like any other rod in the Megabass lineup.
I’ve been waiting for this video to give me more insight on what rod to get I wish I was rich so I could get all of them.
💯 👊🍻
Отличный обзор отличных удилишь! Великолепно!!! У Вас отличный магазин! Отличный канал!!! Вы молодцы!!!
Thank you for watching! 🍻
If you had to pick a baby lol, Bushadder or Swamp survivor (mostly will be swimjig/frog with a citizen mixed in)
Great video like always!! Just got my jabberwock yesterday 👊 what reel do u suggest for that rod? Thanks
Something light and powerful. Steez SV TW, Zillion, Metanium DC, etc
NGL the Matte Brown Varial goes really well with x10s, lemme know if you got a few more of those or are willing to part :D. Great vid as always...guess I'm getting a few of these.
It does look dirty
Would the Jabberwok be a good rod for a trick darter or a duo 85 jerkbait? :)

Just in case you haven't decided, I'd go Jade Python. Very sensitive and does well with light Neko rig, -3/8oz. T-rig/Free rig, and Senko.
Medusa or jade python for general soft plastics/free rig and small hard baits?
Jade Python. Medusa is pretty soft and better intended for smaller treble hook baits, or mid strolling.
Bushadder good for skipping docks or a different model?
hell yeah - perfect.
I throw a lot of knuckles, s cranks and pop max which rid would represent these lures best???
Have you guys had your hands on the new models of the P5?
Specifically the F2.5 Gravel Code? Interested to hear your thoughts
Any dolive stick drop coming soon?
How's the jig and worm sensitivity on the Bushadder? I just grabbed Orochi XX Perfect Pitch and Diablo Spec-R from you guys last week. I think I'm going to grab that Bushadder too.
You skipped over the bearingdown 😢 how does it compare to the P5 Super Destroyer?
That was the rod in the line that I was most interested in too. Should we infer from the silence that this was not one of the preferred models in this line?
@@muffinman885 Sweet man, congrats! Let us know what you think about it and thx for the headsup!

can the orochi x10 handle the brackish water species like barramundi?
Can you throw deps 250 and Huddleston 10inch rof12 on the Anaconda?
What brand line is on the Medusa? Been trying to find pink braided line.
When will these rods be available
If you could only recommend one “all around swimbait rod” regardless of price what would it be? TIA!
Bushadder or ags power pitch?
Looking for jig rod between 1/2 and 3/4 ! Would the bearing do a good job or the bushadder a better option
FMJ all day. $100 difference, but you'll appreciate the gained sensitivity and lightness of the p5 blank.

I have officially suffered a RELAPSE!....!REHAB here I Come!!😂😂
ESG rods, yay, trying to get their DEI score up. Why not go graphene and pull some of that dangerous carbon out of the air?
Nope NOT an End to the P5 lineup. 😮
Zangetsu, Monstrous, Gravel code, Super 7-11, Bearing down extreme and a Kirisame has entered the ARENA ❤👀🔥💥🌊💀 👀👀👀
How long is the handle on the Anaconda? Thanks

They're heavier than the P5, but lighter than Orochi XX. I don't have exact weights.
I know where you can find the weights for these and P5s
Bladed jig rod ????
What orange braid are you using?
Siglon AMZ
Hello friend, is the Anaconda two parts?
Pf windbuster or x10 jadpython for 110 rod?
Neither 😂
How would Viper handle 1/4-ounce Mini-Max chatterbait rod?
I think it would be dope for that
Y'all didn't happen to try out a TK on the swamp survivor or the destruction 66 did ya? Asking for a friend! 😂
No - but both could handle it
I see that they can, I was more curious about the tip. I have the 7'3 daiwa tatula swimbait rod. But it can be a bit heavy and overpowering when it comes to twitching. Or treating the TK like a jerk bait. Hoping to find a bit more give in the tip in a shorter package.
