Sir, does the sulphur collecting pit temperature is maintained using external source because the liquid sulphur melting is 110 C

in some sru process direct cooling takes place in case of process gas have impurities wheras if there is no impurities then indirect cooling takes places with aid of different ex changer where as for direct method dynawaves are used

Hi. Which type of pump is used for Liquid Sulfur loading arms.
Is the Pump having 2 separate discharge line for liquid unloading and solid unloading of sulfur.

steam jacketed centrifugal pumps are used
in one company we used submersible pump for transfer
and another branch we have vertical and horizontal pump which are not submersible
but both pumps will always have continuous steam to avoid solidification of sulfur.
pump will have one discharge line and one mcf line for circulation to keep pump always in hot condition with flow of steam
for solid prilling tower conveyor rakes are used to transfer solid sulfur as pump cannot pump solid sulfur solid sulfur is hard as 🪨 stone.
molten sulfur will be load in tanker from top lid of tanker arm is withdrawn from top to the tanker
sulfur tankers also steam jacketed

endress hussar flow meter ,insertion type
we used 1.8 specific gravity
molter sulfur flow rate is 16m3/hr then how much will be loaded can be determined by 16*1.8= 24 ton would be weight of sulfur tanker loaded
