That moment at exactly 22:53 when you and your dad look at each other after gunning it...and smile at each other ..priceless. Remember to always respect and love your father ..i miss mine so much. Awesome build you should be proud of your self.
thank you so much for this beautiful comment you honestly have no idea how much it means to me. i love my old man so much, he's there for me for literally anything and everything so he definitely knows it!
Cherish these moments! My dad helped me a lot when I swapped my e30 but he never got to ride in it. However when the build was completed and I started driving it to work I could feel him sitting next to me....
Just finished binge watching all your E30 videos today, and dude MAD RESPECT for you. Love the confidence to dare to venture like this alone. Keep up the build!
Your dad’s comment on not listening to his safety concerns gave me a nice smile and reminded me of my dad when I first started playing with cars 😅. Great build and it sounds mean, congrats on getting it completed!
this video got me so pumped, So relateable to when i installed the ecu in my is300. all of these problems with no connecting ecu's, car not starting, not spark. no fuel. and you do all of these little things and all of a sudden the problems start weening out. and before long, you have a running car! gets me soooo pumped
can't wait to see how the car looks in near future and matches with the power it has. much respect you decided to keep the bimmer engine in it and tuned it.
Hell yeah thank you for watching! it's so intoxicating driving this car. everyone in it can't help but smile the whole time. it's gonna be so worth it!
@@ImJoel i feel you man, you give me hope haha thanks for the uploads and keep it up my guy. Also! if you ever need some groovy sounds for you videos lmk! i got the vibes!
Hey i just found this chanel i have a 1991 318i and love what you show on here, super great at explaining what’s happening and sick asf to watch this thing turn over 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Not sure if you actually figured it out, but when tightening the head woth the cams in, just put the engine at TDC and there is grooves in the cams which allows for the tool to be inserted 😅
it was def awesome seeing ur dad smerk hard af after u smashed 2nd an 3rd after passing the cop.... he was def proud of u man.. keep up the good work bro... nice buld, super clean workmanship man fr
Good series of vids bro. I am installing a VEMS system myself Its not a plug and pay Its FAR more complicated Its a 4.7 L V8 1984 Porsche 928. I'm converting the entire ignition system from old school distributor to coil on plug and all the modern stuff that goes along with it. I am leaving the wiring harness part to a pro. After it gets running I will be turbocharging it. I already have all the parts for that, Its expected to get 600 crank HP. Not happening till spring though. Stay tuned and watch for it on my channel if you're interested.
Was watching this vid like "huh this looks like CT" then I saw the CT plate lmao. Good shit man, e30s are fun cars I can't even imagine what a turbo m52 one feels like
very nice!! dream project! same engine and manifoil on its way into my e36 touring at the moment, its NA though. whish I had the time and knowledge to do it all by my self like yourself!
Speechless for your knowledge and the quality of your job! Can you tell me how hard is the cooling hoses in this engine. Mine are rock solid and everyone says it's normal but I don't think so... I can't squeeze mine at all?
How are you liking the VEM ECU? I'm about to start in on a GT3480 based build to push 18lbs of boost shooting for a little over 400rwhp and I need to find a decent drop in ECU for the build and have been having a really hard time finding an ECU that will work on the e46 M52b28tu. Planning on doing a front facing intake manifold so tapping stuff shouldn't be too much of an issue there. Cool and clean build man. Also, if you haven't done it already, don't worry about adapting the seat to the OE rails, just get a solid mount plate and set it permanently for yourself.
thank you!! the vems ecu has honestly been really good to me so far. i only cleaned up the AFR and got it close and have been ripping it like that on the base map the plug and play came with
So I have a stock 91 E30 that suddenly stopped running.. I was on the freeway, up til this it was driving daily with no issues, but on the freeway it suddenly stopped running. I got it to start after letting it sit for like 30 min about 2 times, but after that I couldnt get it going. It turns over strong, I smell gas, I changed the main relay (looked burned up) I cant get it going. Any ideas? Again, no issues before, and a sudden stop. Any ideas? Thanks.
I watch M3nace for my e36 info. When you showed me your sockets with the 12 point, it made me think of him. When you do your cylinder head, he says the 12 point would strip the top of your head bolts and screw you over. Maybe youve used them with no problem, but jus some insight, you might wanna get the proper sockets for head bolts Bro 👊🏾
bro this thing is nuts had to sub after this vid this is actually my future plans with my M50 swapped e30 i have a few vids up on my channel if u wanna check them out but overall fire build bro keep up the good work
@@sladewehner yeah. I got it to start twice but cut it off quickly after having a couple small leaks. But when I fixed those it wouldn’t fire up again. I am also getting a linking error to the obd port so I have just been stuck trying to troubleshoot anything I can.

The sound of this totally delivers.
Bro your old mans reaction was priceless with the lecture at the start & change of mood once you hit boost hahaha
so sick! I just purchased an s52 for my 318ti and doing as much research as possible before the swap. Mine will be NA but this turbo is so sick
Had to come back and watch your old videos since it’ll probably be a while till the e30 comes back but loving the father son moment in this video
Damn man. That is one sweet ride! I have wanted to do this since I was 15!

yessir, once i get the car tuned it’s time to focus on making the car look good
Amazing!!! Great father and son moments to enjoy forever!!

Damn kid you know what you’re doing.
15:49 those grooves on the cam you have to line up by turning the cam
Man oh man all that hard work i bet it feels good
Put the trottle body upside down. Doesn’t look great but it fits way better. I had the same problem because of the e30iX brakebooster.

7:00 looks like you could have just plugged that connector back into the brake switch. It’s a safety.

There you got a real ripper-motor to turbocharge! Do it, and dont go the absolute budget way, it will get more expensive in the end
Blake did my harness as well!

What thermostat housing is that mine does not have a sensor port?
it's an e39 m52 thermostat housing. the port is for bleeding the coolant not for a sensor. It worked really well and my coolant bled so easily
