Just a few things. You say Zilla knew Righteous P since childhood, which is technically correct, but more accurately, they're biological brothers. Side note: Scumbagchad, who makes the MST jeans, is Zilla and P's half brother (same dad, different mothers). Also, I recall Zilla saying on a few occasions that he doesn't consider their music "Trap Metal", he considers it more "Nu Metal". However, I personally agree with you that it's trap metal.Though to be fair to Zilla's point, some of their songs (Downer for example) have less trap influences so I can see where he's coming from.
Didn't know that about Zilla and Righteous P, that clears a lot up. It was really hard to find much on them before Hellsing Station's release. I also saw that Zilla said he considered himself Nu Metal, I think their song structure and the type of culture they've made themselves apart of by who they're collaborating with and basically everything else really makes them in a blurred area between Nu Metal and Hip Hop. Thanks dude!
They're biological brothers. I dm'd Righteous P before and he told me that he and Zilla were brothers and Chad is their half-brother (same dad).@@FilthyKriz
@@inFAMOUSBlastshards Ah okay, I thought that because P said "I've known Z since I was young" they weren't real brothers because that sounds like a weird thing to say about your actual brother
@@yunganaxes its true. Although City Morgue wasn't around in 2016, it was the first song that zillakami and sosmula did together. Zilla and 6ix9ine did the verses and Sosmula did the outro
Should've brought up $INNER69. It's an unreleased song between 6ix, Zilla, Sos, and THRAXX that was made right before their falling out, and they even began filming a music video for it, which was scrapped. You can find clips of it on my channel and you're free to use them.
Actually have never heard of that until now, that's really interesting. Unfortunately this will probably be my only video covering the come up for City Morgue, since I want to keep things fresh for all fans of hip hop. Maybe an analysis video of their or Zillakami's next project though!
production quality is high, pretty entertained well-throughout. You did great, especially for 150 subs. you deserve way more. Stay true to yourself and what is real will prosper 🖤 much luck and love to you
Thank you! I was literally at 8 subs before this, so I'm happy that my videos are starting to be received well. At this point I just have to keep the flow of videos consistent!
Thanks for making this video! :) you gave us an articulate run down on what Zilla and Sos are capable of and I cannot wait to see where they take their future talents and see them break more barriers in the trap metal game
I remember when I saw Zillakami on Vengeance as a feature and got so happy. He’s finally about to break out of the underground and I feel like a proud father lmao.
Why tf you got so little subs? +1 from me. This is one of the few best composed examinations of CityMorgue, even for the little amount of information we the public have of them. I too am excited for what they are gonna do for the culture, big waves ahead, keep y'alls heads up out from the under the water.
Thanks dude! Things are looking really good right now, I had 8 subs a week ago and am probably going to be at around 200-250 when I drop my next video on Saturday. While the numbers aren't extremely important it's nice to know theres an audience now.
yeah, Hell or High Water was consistent as hell, and while it admittedly can drag sometimes, I believe it's really just an establishment of their sound and building a fanbase that will be able to appreciate a future monumental record.
-and I thought I knew city morgue. only thing I’d say is to annunciate and slow down your words a bit more so it doesn’t sound like you’re reading the script, otherwise, great video and u got urself another sub
Thanks! Since the first videos that are now deleted, I've been working on my pronunciation and flow of the script and it's definitely gotten much better but still a long bit to go before it's perfect. So since you're subbed you'll probably be able to gradually tell the difference
I think the instrumental is nice, and both the hook and the verses fit perfectly fine over it, I just don't think that hook really matches those verses. It's definitely not a bad track, and has its appeal, just a weaker track for me.
There was a restriction to be 16 for his Brooklyn show I think and he just said make sure you don't look 12 and you'll get in. Maybe contact their management or something
TORMEALL yeah I look 16 but also I don’t live in London and none of my friends would come so I wouldn’t be allowed to travel 2hrs on the train to get there and back
nice. You should add more sound clips though. i was expecting for you to play a few songs after you talked about them like Hellsing Station and Vengeance.
I considered it, but the times I've featured a bigger artist's song it was blocked worldwide because of a claim, so I usually only stick to a few, and for under about ten seconds just as a preview
I'm pretty sure Zilla said that, and they have the right to define themselves as whatever, but their collaborators and vibe of the lane they're in right now is super hip hop/trap influenced
