Two great castings, Lex Luthor’s actor and Lois Lane’s actor. Even Tom Welling said that when Erica Durance came she changed the atmosphere. I also feel that if lex Luther came later he would have changed the game too but where Lois Lane brought life into the show Lex Luthor’s character would have made it more serious and thrilling. The problem with Lana’s character is that they made her the typical template girl which is damsel in distress and there wasn’t much else to her tbh outside of Clark. Another couple of castings they got right were Martha and John Kent…. Watching them actually made you feel like they were your parents My two favourite women character and looks wise were Lois Lane and Martha Kent And finally Tom Welling…. I feel like I’m each season his acting got better and better, even tho Clark had to be reserved Tom welling still showed emotional range especially with his facial expressions
In some alternate timeline fan fiction if the show ended at three seasons have parts of this scene tweaked as going the MOS route of adult Clark first meeting with Lois on his travels across America for several years before returning home, her looking into his rescues over the years.
