    Thanks for sharing your experience. I was having a hard time applying for the evisa because I wasn't sure what the entry point was called. After watching your video I will just wait and do it when I get there. I already booked the VIP bus tour. Thanks again.

    Hi! Very helpful video! Did you book in advance? If you did how many days? How did you get VIP, I checked online, but I can't seem to find it. Thank you!

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi! Thank you. We booked the bus ticket in advance a few days. The VIP was offered to us when arrived at the bus office when we picked up our tickets, as we were leaving. We did not know about it until then. They offered for $40 for VIP which included the VISA fee for Cambodia. (so basically you are only paying $4 more than what you will pay for Visa on arrival) the service that you get for those extra few dollars is WONDERFUL! Easiest border crossings we have EVER had. No lines, no wait - just breeze through. We were back on the bus sitting comfortably in the AirCon for an hour waiting on the people that had e-visas or were getting their own Visa on arrival. It was honestly that smooth. Tip: when you are booking the bus there is only 1 that has a bathroom (although they all stop for breaks) it is/was the bus leaving at 8am. We hope we answered your questions?

    Excellent video and very helpful indeed. Def sounds like a better option to Ibis.
    Can you please throw more light on the flight option where you still have to take a bus? Isn’t flying into SAI from DMK not an option anymore? Just starting by research, so please bear. TIA!

      Thank you. So happy you liked our video! Yes, this is still an option to fly into Siem Reap Airport. The way that we looked at it was ... between spending time at 2 airports (wait time, boarding time, flying time, customs time, drive from Siem Reap airport which is about 45 minutes, etc... the most affordable, comfortable, least hassle, and most fun was doing this VIP bus trip - at least for us.

    Is the line crowded from Cambodia to Thailand also?

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It seemed to be about the same on both sides. If you are taking a bus pay the extra $4 more (than the e-visa) and the VIP will get you across with no lines and no waiting.

  • @ninjaassassin5801
    @ninjaassassin5801 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    So do you they handle your visa going to Cambodia? There’s two of us needing to go there also how much would the ticket be for two people? We’re currently in Bangkok now we don’t have visas yet for Cambodia. Just wondering also if they could possibly help both of us get visas?

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Yes. So, we purchased our tickets from Bangkok to Siem Reap online through the www.travelmartbangkok.com
      website (be careful because there is only 1 bus with a bathroom on board- it is the 8am) they do have night buses also but no bathroom but they do all stop for bathroom breaks. We paid $1250 Bhat each for our bus ticket through their website to ensure we had a seat. Then when we arrived at the TravelMart office to leave, they offered the VIP (which includes the Visa and they handle everything) it was only $4 more than the Visa on Arrival would have been, so we quickly said yes. Honestly, it was the best decision we could have made. They literally took care of everything and just walked us through. When we were back at the bus relaxing in the Aircon, we still had to wait for the people getting Visa on Arrival AND those that had gotten e-visas ahead of time. We just did not have to spend time in lines. Best $4 we ever spent and the easiest border crossing we have ever had. Hope this helps. If we can help with anything else let us know!

      Yes, take a look at their schedules here: www.travelmartbangkok.com/en/transit/destinations/siem-reap

    Do they need visa to connect to Cambodia? How many hours of travel from Bangkok to siamrep

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      From Bangkok to Siem Reap including the borders in about 7.5-8 hours. We left at 8am and were in SR by 4:30. If you do the VIP (you buy it from the bus company when you are leaving on the bus. So make sure to go to the desk and tell them you want the VIP and included visa), that provides for your visa to go to Cambodia. Hope this helps. It was so easy! You will LOVE Siem Reap! We have several videos for there, as well.

    All you need is 40 and they give you visa to Cambodia right away? Is there anything else, and overall including everything how much did it cost you to get to cambodia

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Three things:
      1. There is the price of the transport (bus or van) which you can see on their website
      2. There is the price of the Cambodian visa
      3. They charged $4 to handle the visa for us.... which made our stop at the border very easy. All we did was get off the bus on the Thai side, walk across the bridge to the Cambodian side, and get back on the same bus in Cambodia.
      Total price = bus or van fare + Cambodian visa fee + around $4 usd if you want them to handle the visa process for you.
      On our bus there were people who chose to not pay $4 and handle the visa process themselves.... they were the last ones to get on the bus. For us, the $4 was worth the time we would have spent waiting in immigration lines had we done it ourselves without their help.

    How much does it cost 40 including the visa?

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, the bus ride was $40. The VIP was $4 and the visa to Cambodia is $35. In the video we just talk about the $40 for the bus and $4 for the VIP ( because you would have to pay the visa know matter which transportation you took to get to Cambodia). Hope this helps.

    • @eyecool
      @eyecool  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi Sean. The VIP with TravelMart comes with the Visa (no picture needed) When you get to both borders the TravelMart people walk your your passport through and they get you your visa. No wait, no lines, no picture, no hassle. the cost is only $4 more than it is to get your e-visa on line or Visa on Arrival. My point is that don’t do it ahead of time - they do it for you as you go through.
