I tried it this evening. I did it on myself at home so I shaved short length with hair clipper. I cut it a little longer because I’m curly and it’s absolutely lovely. I’m not so far from your result. And the technique with razor comb is incredible. Thanks for your content 🥰
Ive always had long thick hair that i never considered going short but i got a pixie cut a few months ago I’ve never had so many compliments. Also no more anxiety over my hair and less $$ on heir products. ❤️ 💗.
I love this cut. This was my copy short bob definition and although I need the front a little bit shorter just ti stay out of my eyes and a bit more choppy around the sides. I can't get anyone to cut this for me. I can't believe it's here. Geesh. Thank you for posting.
Looking for a feathered shag, shattered, light natural curl, natural gray with red/blonde tones. Love the neckline a little more shaggy. Center part no heavy bangs. 76 years of age, oval shape face.
That is super helpful and very cool. I wish I had found your channel a long time ago. You are a great educator and an amazing stylist. Thank you so much ♥️💖♥️
Absolutely love this cut. I have incredibly thick hair that's so hot in summer. I have a combination of undercut and this style, it's both cool and feminine with the gorgeous fringe. Life saver. 💚
Loved you video. You’re very clear and you explain each step very well. My hair dresser cuts my hair but because mine grows so quickly I trim it myself twice before going again to keep the cost down, which she knows I do and I do a reasonable job. However, just before the recent lockdown I went for a pixie cut where the back of hair is very short getting a bit longer as it goes up. Trouble is then we went straight into another lockdown and I’ve already trimmed it twice myself but now it’s grown again I need to cut it but not sure how to go about it 💇🏻♀️ Other thing is your cut is shaped around the ear, mine is feathered over the ear but I would like to try shaped around the ear but I’m REALLY hesitant to do it incase I make a mess of it. It’s difficult times for those trying to cut their own hair in desperation during Covid. 2nd lick down I cut my own hair into a pixie style from shoulder length and it looked good too. Maybe I’m over thinking it because my hair dresser cut this style 🤷🏻♀️💭 My style at moment is like the one you did only very short at the bottom section but same length at top if that helps. I suppose with my hair growing quickly if I do shape around my ears and I don’t like it it will grow back in a couple of months 🥴😳😁
Subscribed to your channel about two years ago I think your work is amazing , well informed and have learned loads 👍🏼will look forward to all your knew content
You keep mentioning a “Stationary Guide” during this cut and often times when you are working. I know about where you are working with the cut, but will you explain “how to establish a stationary guide” please? I love the cut! It never goes out of style!
Your stationary guide is the first cut. It just depends on a lot of factors: how long or short client wants, sometimes density of hair changes how much you take for your stationary guide... hope this helped!
Love the cut but it's a little too short for me. Could you show us some "pandemic" cuts, which means we do them ourselves? Can't go to salons now. I'll be 72 next month and want a very shaggy, layered cut. My hair is a little past my shoulders now after cutting several times but I can't seem to get the layers like I want. My hair is really getting thin so want something easy and makes my hair look fuller. I don't use a lot of product on my hair and I'm not the usual 70+ lady who likes the "fixed" look. I would love to just wake up and do very little to get going. I know this is a lot to ask, but never hurts to ask. 😁 Tyvm.
First my hair stylist is very experienced & does a great job but she's hard to talk with. I dont know terminology hair stylists use. Would like to explain to her this tutorial video? What I'm looking for in a style. How I visualize myself for this specific cut. Will it work for my hairtype (my stylist for 10+yrs). I NEED AND WANT a cut to fit MY LIFESTYLE? Teach me how to style; tools, prods needed for VOLUME. I want/like it to look just like the picture but is it right for MY hairtype, lifestyle (while I'm working I wnt it to look clean and voluminous). How do I explain the cut I chose; long layered, dsconnctd pixie w/a soft knape. DO NOT want a manly/boyish, razored undercut, EVER!? Ick! Like what your tutorial explnd in THIS video about a d/c cut (pixie). I don't want to insult her or sound rude as if she doesn't know what she is doing? Once again, she is vry experienced. I ESPCLLY want/NEED that "VOLUME"! I swear I hve the straight---est, baby fine hair, unfortun a very ROUND face too, no cheekbones 😢 found here. Lol. I've NEVER liked flat hair! Makes me look FAT. Ugh! My job reqs svrl hrs of daily, physcl labor (I hve a residential house cleaning bsnss) & as I start to get "really" hot moving around my hair starts to fall flat!! I take svrl prescribed meds, in order to work, that mke my head/face perspire. Embarrassing! WET & FLAT is what I end up with within a couple hours. YUCK! So I NEED a cut like THIS I think bc i NEED it to look halfway decent til I get home. Somedays I must run errands after work, in public. To have a cut that will still have some volume. Not as if I just stepped out of the shower 😂😂. It winds up looking just like that😢😢😢 PLEASE HELP!
This is one of the most professionally, detail pixie haircut tutorial that I have yet to see. Thank you

This cut is gorgeous. It was so funny when you sliced back and forth. Never seen that before.

I was kind of skeptical of leaving the weight in the center back, but it layed so nicely. Beautiful cut.
Qaqqaqaqaq
I believe without it it would be 'grandma' in the back
Looks like you blended the back slightly with the guide you made and the part you built up weight in the back? Right?
Did learn alot easy techniques from you smart done.
I really love this video
Beautifully done!
Awesome art beautiful hair
..Edgy, yet simple.... Thank you.👍
Q; How does one get the edgy yet messy look at the back..Hair going in the opposite directions..(short hair)
A: product

Extravagante Kunst Herr Kollege prima
Tu trabajo quedó muy hermoso !!!!!.
Loved it. 😍
Which side of the comb is 50% ? When do you use one side of the comb vs. The other?
It’s wonderful cute
Looks like a grow out rather than a cut. To each their own.
Love it
Love! More please!
nice, thank you
Superb!
👍 nice tutorial
Lovely...nice explication
You're amazing
What brush name?? I want buy it plz✌️
Razor makes hair look flyaway and frizzy as it grows. Dont like razor cuts esp as they grow out
Sounds like a bad razor cut to me, not every razor cut
I'm going to try this sometime. Where can I find the razor and comb combo?
Lovely I love it.., 🎉
Can I ask why sometimes you start at the sides and sometimes you start at the back?
Questuon: is this cut also good for fine/thin hair?
Omg amazing
