I got mine done 2 days ago. I went from long hair to pixie cut in a matter of minutes and I had long hair my whole life. Do I regret it? Well not really, it makes my eyes stand out a lot and other features. Thing is it's a bit too short so I can't wait to see how it'll look like in a month. Sometimes I regret cutting it and sometimes I don't. If you want a pixie cut, just go for it. It's hair, it'll eventually grow back if you don't like it. And it's also good when it's hot outside.
@@mariahdariah8120 I had a very long hair but I don't regret it at all because I took at in stages maybe one month or month and a half I kept cutting some every week by myself till I reached this point I went to a salon.
If anyone is scared of getting their hair cut like this because it "won't fit your face shape" or "you're scared of it being too short" GO FOR IT!!! The thing is your hair will grow back and if you end up not liking it atleast you tried it out!!! Most of us are in quarentine anyway so now is the perfect tiem to try out something new!

hey, im also a trans boy, and i cut my hair about a year ago, my parents didn’t let me either. So much for 2am dysphoria sessions, right? anyways, it grew out a LOT since lockdown started so i think you should go for it!! after all, it is hair and i know from experience as a trans guy having short hair gives such heavy euphoria so,,, i mean i support u! if u need any advice, im free to talk anytime :)

I want a pixie cut but I have a long heart shaped face so it wont look good.
I have the same face shape and I got my pixie cut a couple of weeks ago from having long hair and honestly, no regrets! I don't think I'm going back to long hair. Give your hairdresser some pictures of what you are thinking of and ask for some advice on what would suit your face shape best :)

Honestly i think any pixi cut will work for anyone, like me i have a round face and the first time i did it i hated it because it made me look too boyish, but now i got a pixi that frames my face pretty well and i have no regrets from it i love it so much. So dont say no because of a face shape, you just do you and and look good. 😊

Wax/paste are your friends along with sea salt sprays. You want texture in your hair and definiton. If its curly then use regular curl routines and products.
@@StarlingofAzerath this is a year late, but I got my pixie recently and I only have gel and mouse, also I'm not very good at styling so it kinda just looks like a blob on my head. Would you recommend me buying more products?
@@lc355 try wax or paste, but remember, a little goes a long way, then play with it by piecing it out. I've also used sea salt spray.
Also, search for how to style pixie cut. A lot of people show the products they like and use, or put the names in the description.

I did this by myself without and vid cuz I was just down in the dumps for weeks. From a chest length to shoulder to under the ear and lastly without the help or even mentioning to anyone I tried to eye ball a pixie cut, it turned out fine. My mom and youngest sis wasn't liking it but my aunt said I did so good she thought I had it done by a professional. I continued maintaining the style by trimming it from time to time but then I wanted a pixie undercut and I don't really trust myself with that so I'm growing it out to get it professionally cut after this quarantine.

I do mine myself and it's not bad. It's a little trial and error to figure out exactly how you like it, but I get better results doing it myself because every stylist has a different idea what a pixie should look like.
The hardest part is the back because I can't see. I just use clippers for that part.

Well,when i wanted to cut my hair i just did it in the bathroom,i mean if ur parents aren't that bad maybe you can show them a picture and tell them that u would feel much better with that cut than the one that u got now! Maybe if they see how happy it would make u they'll let u.
And if they don't, u can see how to make it yourself lol,they can't change it once it's done anyway :P hope this helps a little!

This isn't a tutorial..I'm just watching you cut but you're not explaining anything like why are you leaving it short here or esplaining how to measure or balance this length with that, etc. Besides, it's in speed mode.
