The elder lady told me, “oh baby you ain’t done yet. You’re in a sword creation phase. To properly shape a sword, raw iron is placed into the fire multiple times in order to be shaped correctly”. As corny as it maybe, she was telling the truth. I was 20 years of age at that time, I recently turned 45, an age I felt I would never see. I fully comprehend all my trials and tribulations. Everything has prepared for the current time we are living in. Last night while washing dishes, something hit me like a tone of bricks. The people that done me wrong, the most high reveled them to me but only me. Now I understand why everyone always said I overreact. I was the only one that actually seen them for who they truly were, no one else. Their mask was removed long after I seen their true selves and choose to keep it moving. Don’t give and don’t give in. Keep pushing, and hold on with both hands.
That's why Fantasia is so loved❤ she's very genuine and authentic to the gift that God has given her. 🙏 ❤
I remember this! She had growing tumors on her chords, they told her she wasn’t gonna be able to sing again. She fell into major depression and almost committed suicide, she talked about waking up in the hospital around her family and how she was devastated that she was back to where she started. Then she went on her spiritual journey to realize God kept her here for a reason and looking at where she is now, BECAUSE SHE WAS MEANT TO EXIST AND HAVE A TESTIMONY. I love me some Fantasia and just seeing from where she was to where she is now is truly a blessing! She deserves all the good in the world . She’s just unstoppable

Beautifully stated!!! I agree with every word!! And, I’m so glad she was able to address her feelings in a public forum. Especially since Oprah was there, and she was part of the reason Fantasia got those tumors. The Color Purple stage play demanded too many performances out of her. It really wasn’t kind at all what they did to her. But God!!! 🙏🏾💯🙏🏾

You never know what people are going through. It’s not easy when you’re gifted with a gift and everyone isn’t there to support you and all you have is yourself and God to get you through. God has a beautiful way of turning your trials and tribulations into a testimony. I’m grateful she kept fighting and proud of how far she has come. May she receive all the blessings in the world.

Beautiful!!! I just saw Color Purple today and was thrilled at how these Sistahs showed up and showed out. I wasn't interested in seeing a remake of a film from the 80s but must honestly admit it was great. Taraji and Fantasia are Oscar worthy and deserve the respect that big-ego Oprah doesn't want to give but God's got them.

In Nashville Tenn. They killed my brother who was crippled and mentally challenged. I did not know they want me dead too.
