For me, The Chronic, is in te list, best rap albums ever. I thought damn that Eazy is game over. Wish Eazy did not die. He had BG, Dresta, Bone, cool with Ren, Above the Law and all that. Would have love to see, where Ruthless went, with Eazy.

Idk if BG will ever see this, but his verse on real Compton CG is one of my favorite rap versus of all time so this day. That song stays in rotation in my car and I haven’t stopped listening to it since 1995 lol
BG is spot on regarding the South. I'm from the Detroit area, but I currently live in the Bay area near Oakland. I have this same conversation with Oakland peeps, where i say that we're most of us from the Black migration to the Midwest, Eastcoast, and Westcoast. So, no matter which direction our ancestors took. They'd still brought the south with them. Crack cocaine is what caused the current. I remember those years in Detroit. It was just as bad as LA. Being in Oakland reminds me a lot of Detroit. Even San Francisco. I feel like I'm talking to someone back in Detroit. The hoods in the Black communities throughout the country pretty much have the same elements. Liquor stores, soul food joints, etc.

Ppl stole BG’s flow so much in the 90s whether u wanna admit it not
Example
🧢
What if they had the same flow but he got on first and you equate that to them stealing his flow because you heard him first
Love to hear the history from different perspectives 💯💯💯💪🏾
