Your videos have helped me grow so much as a stylist! 12 years in the industry now and your education has lifted my cutting confidence to heights I had never imagined!THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wow! You are amazing! I will be doing this cut on my 11 year old autistic daughter. You did such a beautiful job and your super easy to listen to and follow. Man, I felt like I was back in cosmology school. I will subscribe and follow you from now on. Your a rock star stylist for sure. Thank you!
I love how you talk about different textures of hair and what techniques you would do with the different ones. I'm loving your videos! I'm a new stylist and these tips and tricks are nice to learn and see! And I love love LOVE dry cutting!!! Glad I'm not the only one that likes to do dry cutting!
I love how you showed the flaws and everything . Because a cut doesn't always come out perfect ,especially a A Line. You always have to dry it to perfect it. Love it!! This is one hair cut I sometimes struggle with 😣
I do defenitely love the way you teach. it's incredible how I understand every single word you say, even when you speak so fast. As a matter of fact I will try this haircut in my first volunteer I find. Greetings from Mexico man.
I love the fact that u do a lot of the same cuts but show different ways to spice it up and different techniques. This helps with people trying to learn these cuts and a better understanding of the head shape and what will happen with the hair if done different ways. My biggest problem with cutting was wondering what would happen if I was on certain areas of the head and these step by steps help me a lot when that are different variations of the cuts
Amazing, perfect a line bob! I'll be replicating this cut on a client today. Thank you! I love your videos and I feel like I've grown so much as hairdresser just taking in all the info you and Brian share!
I like how you mentioned about continuing one side or 1 section before starting the other. I feel like that would be the reason why I can get so lost sometimes in the middle of my cuts because I go back and forth from section to section. I absolutely love doing these style cuts but your wet cutting technique with one in particular just makes it so easy!
I love bobs!! You make them so much fun and always add sooo much texture. They’re always so unique! Thanks for sharing. As a student I love seeing an experienced hairdresser. 😁😁
still a struggle to get this as perfect as yours. I need to try staying on one side of the head, then moving to the next. once I flip my finger pointing down, I feel like that's my weak point. such a popular cut right now too. I need to watch this 657 times now. lol.
Love this! I am a student; recently decided to leave career and follow dream! Your videos are amazing information. Thank you for putting your knowledge out there for us!!
I really love love love this cut!!! I am 73 now and my hair is very thin and fine, but I'm hoping I can find a place I can try to get a similar cut that will work for me.
Love this!! The techniques used for the detailing were perfect! i can definitely see the difference when using the tip of the shears for the neckline vs trying to go in and making a straight line with the full blade! Also using the firm hold hairspray to detail the angle in the front was a perfect idea! will definitely try this one soon!!!
Thank you so much for, explaining what you are doing, what we should be looking for when cutting, all your tips have really helped me improve my technique!
I am not a stylist and I watch your videos. Amazing. So much talent! Keep them coming. If you ever need a hair model with long, stick straight hair... 😂
I love the different ways you cut this style, question I have this was shown to me cutting horizontally for a better guide, can you make a video cutting horizontally instead of elevated..
THAN YOU MATT YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT HAIRSTYLIST AND BRING TO ALMOST ALL OF US GREAT TECHNICS that refresh or teach to many of Us excellent quick and what could be said to realy honor your level of Professionalism!! good luck!! wich you well!!
great job!! I love learning new tricks & thank you for explaining everything with very detailed steps. in real time how long did this haircut take you from start to end? I'm trying to work on my time at the salon.
Thank you again so much with this video! Bobs are the hardest haircuts for me! I can never get it right and I've been a hairstylist for 6 years now ☹️ definite need to practice with a mannequin head and need some new shears! I use trimmers in the back to clean up instead of shears. I feel like I can't cut and fine tune that neck line like you can. I tried about 5 years ago and cut my clients neck...never did that technique again 😳
I love the cut and the helpful finishing tips about using the point of the shear to create your line as well as the firm hold hair spray tip! I'd love to see a video about picking the right shear. metal choices, what they mean, terminology, etc. maybe a comparison on some top brands Hikari, Hattori Hanzo, Mizutani?
Thanks for the wonderful demonstration and explanation! Question: How would you modify this cut if you wanted to add a very close undercut (i.e. buzzed). Would you just start the graduation a little higher?
This is a beautiful hair cut thank you for sharing. Is there any way we could see the illustrations for this Haircut, this is a hard hair cut,but you did a wonderful Cut on her .
So, you are basically taking the A lines to the center line or just to the previous line guide? Is not quite clear on the video. Thanks a lot. Love your videos. Thanks to you I came back on business
Question: this was great! I have an ALine Cut now..... I also have my sideburns shaved.... I really want to transition into more of a round bob. If that is even a real hair cutting term.... LOL... I'm just a crazy lady with wild hair ideas for my 48year old self. I don't know if my stylist is versed enough to do it. And actually, I want to know the best way to communicate what I want to have her do before we start. Can you please offer any ideas or suggestions?
Only one person has ever got the A line haircut right on me. I have asked for this cut each time I have gone to a Salon and the only one who ever got it right was in Monticello, Utah. Everyone else just cuts my hair which is very fine into a short bob. I am now in the process of growing it out and going to my sister's hairdresser whom she says she really likes.
