saw this at theater followed by SPHINX shortly after. . Great to see Langella again after all these years in DRAFT DAY, with Kevin Costner
This is actually one of the most original ways ive ever seen dracula enter a room. How he clawed at the window pane to loosen it was really practical.
It's taken from an English legend called the "Croglin Grange Vampire." In the legend, the titular vampire enters the house the exact same way: claws at the glass to loosen it, then opens the door.
There's a scene later in the movie where her Dad finds her, and she's all vamped out. One of the scariest scenes in any vampire movie.
Frank Langella....BestvDracula ever!!
Dracula picking the lead from the window, removing the glass pane and sliding his hand through to unlock the door is from an English legend called "The Croglin Grange Vampire", in which a vampire entered a house the exact same way and attacked a girl sleeping in her bed.
I thought a vampire couldn’t enter without being invited.
It's just a myth
I can't breathe
Those two idiots: Yeah ya can , let me slap ya until you do.
Who knew that slapping a person's face doesn't stop them from suffocating?
Lol And maybe they didnt know CPR back then?
such a great scene from one of the best Dracula movies ever love how you climbs down the wall
Definitely NOT one of the best Dracula movies.
I thought it was a great Dracula movie
@@mirabella2154 Not the best but still a pretty good film. Frank Langella was awesome in this role.
I agree, this was a great Dracula movie, the cast was superb.
The best Dracula movie, no doubt about It.
Brilliant Acting ❤
Nice touch to have Dracula break the fourth wall as he's climbing down the side of the house.
The great Frank Langella!
This is not Mina. Its Lucy.
This is what gets me annoyed, why did they change the character’s names?
It was a great movie, but disappointing that the producers went with the Broadway play version-no Castle Dracula with Jonathon Harker in Transylvania with the 3 vamp brides. But who looks cooler and more handsome than Frank Langella in 1979?
Yikes!! This Dracula is such a "pain in the neck."
Sempre amei filmes de vampiro, assistia a todos❤
Yes
Sou fan dos filmes do Conde Dracula.
Excellent movie, i watch it a long time ago, i would like to have the the complete Film, not just a Clip.

Oh, Frankie boy. Was fine as h*ll! Leave the windows and doors OPEN!
Noooooooooo!!! Don't leave the windows open. He'll come in and bite you! And then drink your blood!!!
It's also from Varney the vampire 🦇.
Cross: “Add”…..”Dem”: BLOORD….Adddem…..Adam
Mina Van Helsing? As far as I know. There's only Wilhelmina Murray, Mina Murray.
you can see here with dracula climbing up the walls as a spider, from this scenes the superhero spiderman was created....and the superheroes were made by copying the clasic british monsters,..¿remember the movie the league of extraordinary gentleman,?
Had no idea Skeletor was this savage in the past, did you?
...or as cute!
Drac was having a bad hair day

I know 19nth century medicine idiotic. They didn't even wash their hands.
Wait....what? It’s the 19th century. No such thing as CPR.
He should have done a tracheotomy, they knew that in those days !!!! XD
