Sweet Christmas, after ALL OF THESE YEARS, watching this playthrough and seeing y'all comment on how that poster looks like Batman, I took a good look at it just now, and realized it's a Boo behind bars. Can't believe it took me this long to realize from how many times I've played this game.
alright, predictions on the final rank. even if they aren't trying to check for every bit of treasure, and the 100 million gold for A rank sounds like a lot, they already got like 4 million in the first area. Big pearls from boss ghosts, if stephen gets any more of those, plus gems (10 each of rubies, sapphires and emeralds) will be a major boost in money. Plus they haven't had much luck on speedy spirits, but did get one gold mouse (I cried a little when mal missed the random one in the hall). However, luigi's mansion is still pretty generous on treasure. You actually have to try a little to get the lowest rank. And I believe they have a pretty good chance of getting both gold gems. One for all the boos (it sounds like they'll try to get them all) and the other for the big plant in the backyard(which as long as they try that out with the water element, it's a pretty conspicuous sight). Oh yeah, the plants give a lot of money when watered, and e gadd gives you a hint about them. If you find a Gold Mouse but it gets away, you can try again (you have to leave the room and come back). If you find a Speedy Spirit but it gets away, it’s gone forever. If you don’t find the Speedy Spirit or Gold Mouse before the lights in the room turn on, you get another chance later in the game.

I've been playing the 3ds version of this game, and my least favorite thing is the right stick. I hate that right stick on the New 3ds XL because it's small and hard to use. I can't tell how well I'm adjusting things when I use it, so when I need to move the flashlight around or adjust the Poltergust nozzle, I often miss because of that stick.
I guarantee they'll do better than that C at worst, B is more likely, I'm rooting for them to get A. It's actually a bit of work to get the worst rank.
