I love this! I am curious though how he woke up one day and decided he wanted to be a whip singer at Ren Fairs!
I believe his dad was a circus performer with whips and that's where he got into it
As the other commenter said, it's a family circus tradition.
He was quite literally born into the circus. His dad taught him how to crack a whip when he was 7yo.
He's got a video on his TH-cam channel where he performs circus tricks he used to do regularly, but doesn't anymore.
The object balancing and plate spinning were my favourites! I know it's working with physics, but it still looks like magic to me.
Look for a channel called Profoundly Pointless. The host interviews Jack and Jack talks about deciding on becoming a RenFair performer. It goes into his life as "the circus kid" and stuff.
It was even better when he did Get Low during the last normal show of the day. It was hard for him to keep it PG-13, never mind family friendly.
I put on the Closed Captions and it said unintelligible mumbling squeak squeak in the beginning
I’m picturing the scene in Infinity War where Doctor Strange is flipping through various timelines, but instead it’s Jacques trying to figure out Pretty Fly for a White Guy.
That would be epic!!!
I just realized Jacques has major Gallagher vibes to his performance.
He is so creative with his whipping and brilliant with changing the lyrics kinda on the spot
