8:48 Here I think David just said "break" because Celine paused in the phrasing, but I think it would've been more impactful if they had followed Josh's lead and held the note all the way through. Long notes at the end of big song like that are so beautiful and draws all the emotion to a single bursting point. It doesn't have to be loud and belting, just a sweet final long held note, especially with Josh and Celine's tones, and then Celine adding the trill run at the end, it would've been so gorgeous to end the song.
I disagree. The break was well placed. It creates anticipation for the concluding note.
He said break because there was a break in it...josh mispoke and celine corrected it by confirming with David. He did not just decide to add somthing that was NOT there.
