The yellow plastic ferrule you mention as getting detached and stuck in the handle extension as the reason for returning it, this only happens if you over tighten the joint. I used a T7 yesterday for the first time and discovered the problem you mentioned so I had a quick think as to why this was happening and realised that you don’t need to screw up the joint so tightly, once I did this problem sorted.
Its a great tool, thanks for the video 👍🏻

@@xantiaexclusive Thanks for the comment in the video 👍🏻 Not sure how it can be over tightened though as its just a push and turn system? Nevertheless, when it works, it's a great system.

Might I suggest you use the product 'Wet & Forget' on your patio once you've cleaned it all.
I used to clean my large patio yearly with my Karcher and it looked great for 6-months. After a damp, wet winter the green mold, moss and dirt all returned... very depressing!
However a neighbours gardener recommended 'W&F' and I haven't looked back.
I apply the product every 2-3 years, with no jet washing in-between. Ace product.
It's from New Zealand, available widely in the UK... and not that pricey if you buy direct... they do have occasional offers/bundle deals on their website.
Apply the product on a dry day on dry slabs. Every time it rains, the product activates and does its job of preventing the majority of moss and black mold.
I just give the patio a hose down and a lught brushing once or twice a year, so not labour intensive.
Fyi... I dont work for W&F... or receive any commision/payment... its just a great priduct.
Plus, not harmful to animals/pets... which is a must for me.
    Give it a whirl.
    All the best,
    Stwve Cotterill
    😊👍

I'll give that a shot Steve. I bought 5lt of it about 7 years ago from Costco but never got around to using it. Just been to the garage and had a look and you dilute it, so should have plenty. Thanks for the reminder that I had it 👍😁

Soil settlement is why it’s installed and compacted in layers on construction jobs. A sheer face like that would even get geogrid between layers.

Very useful to help me make my (positive) choice and then also to get me handling it all 👍
One thing about that yellow inserts issue.
When in the Karcher centrum itself I pointed this issue out to the man, and he said that this happens when the system inside is not depressurised after work i.e. not getting rid of the water by turning the water (power still on) and pull the trigger until water stops flowing (and then immediately turn the power off).
I bought it because it seems so good, and I hope the man is right about the yellow issue 😄

It really is an excellent bit of kit. I'll probably end up getting another at some point (had to send this one back after I'd finished the job). Just make sure you have a pair of long nosed pliers at hand 😁 thank you for the comment 👍🏻

I recently bought the t5-racer, awesome bit of kit but it has the same issue you have had where it leaves the yellow o-ring cap thing in the gun every now and then. I havent super glued mine as I want to be able to change the o-rings if needed but it is a frustrating issue for sure, hopefully Karcher fix it and offer replacements (although I doubt they will).

I tried the superglue thing and it didn't work unfortunately, alas it has to go back. Glad it wasn't just my lance that was causing the issue after hearing about you having the same problem though, thanks for the comment.

Thank you for a perfect review. I will try my luck with the yellow thingy as otherwise it does everything I am looking for right now. Now I even know what to focus on with the system and I will try and depressurize the system as some write in the comment. Great job!!!🍻

Hi, many many many thanks !!! I’ve been trying for more than an hour to plug this unsuccessfully and I now know why: the yellow thingy problem.
Without you, I would have never found out … still trying to get it off though, but I am not giving up 😅

Yes, I've recently returned 2 t-5 racer tool as they both lost their yellow connector pieces. I've bought a new hand gun to see if that makes a difference. I might have to use the superglue idea! Great video.

Igualmente gracias.

i found the result on cleaning pavment slab by using 3-in-1 Multi Jet is much better than using surface cleaner , is it normal ?

Just bought myself the k7 washer and this t7 patio cleaner. I’ve seen videos where people use a detergent of some kind before using the washer. What are your thoughts. Cheers

I have just bought the K4 Power Control Home washer from Screwfix, because I couldn't justify spending the extra on a K7. Looks a decent bit of kit and I haven't used it yet, but have already purchased a 10m hose from Direct Hoses for £40.40p, because I knew the karcher one was rubbish. The T5 Racer came with green jets, and I am wondering if I need to change them for the grey ones?

    • @CloughReviews
      @CloughReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's in the instructions, from memory, you should use the same colour as the ones I used, the other is for the more powerful pressure washers. Double check with the instructions though.

    • @CloughReviews
