Great video! The problem with the dirt blaster is its real name is Dirt spreader! I used it and was very happy and then saw my walls! Luckily it was just the side of a container easy to clean but the patio cleaner is good for getting most of the muck , then use the blaster for the stubborn bits without risk of pebble dashing your house with mud . Be careful with the dirt blaster as your just looking down and admiring how good it is, then when you look to your sides, you need to repaint your walls 😁
The pressure of one nozzle will always be higher :) I have an earlier, smaller model of the patio washer (without the bristles) and though it deals well with general dirt, I never expected it to pick up weeds, that is what the other tools are for ;)
"... what the other tools are for" - may I ask which other tools? no snarky question, I'm just curious if you've found something that would make my work easier 😋
Once it’s clean I use Thomson’s Wet Look Driveway Sealant. No more weeds and the drive looks new. It does not keep the wet look for long but no more ruddy weeds.
Just bought one of these for my K7.. really hoping it is quicker than just using the normal spray lance doing the driveway.. I will find out soon as the weather gets better and use it 👍🏻
The first clean needs to be done with the dirt blaster, then use this every few months. I do agree that a spinning dirt blaster head instead of 2 jets wouldve made a better product.
Dirt blaster does demolish your paving, fyi! You're removing any sand/joint aggregate and taking years of the lifetime of your blocks. Much more likely to move now.
Came here to say this! Give it 3-5 years and there will be loose pavers everywhere. You have to sweep paving sand back into the pavers to fill all the gaps and stop the slight movement the pavers have without the sand between that causes the sand underneath the pavers to loosen up
He’s not that near and it’s only a karcher K3, though I agree with what’s your saying. For the patio yours better off with 25degree nozzle for the blocks, and 15for the weeds in between I guess
hi i went down the same route ,,i bought a petrol washer and a patio cleaner with wheels on aluminium £200 one, still does not rip the weeds out like the dirt blaster ,,but as you say it cleans the face ok
I think about getting this so I check reviews. I noticed you changed nozzles to green for lowest presseure, have you perhaps tried it on yellow (highest) or grey (mediun pressure) nozzles with another karcher (with more pressure) at friend or neightbour? Maybe that's the issue
Bought a K5 which cam with this T-Racer Head. Was working fine on first use. Switched to the other heads at lower pressure to apply stone detergent. When I switched back to the surface cleaner my machine started pulsing when the trigger is pulled. No clue why. ANy ideas?
Hi there, I am looking to buy the Karcher k3 model. The k3 one you can get with or without a surface cleaner does not look as big or better as this one. Is there a difference between this t5 surface cleaner vs the one that comes default with the k3 model? Wanting the best performance and don’t mind spending the extra buying this one only if it’s worth it. Thanks
I just got a k3 with patio cleaner after I saw your last video. I’m curious about the dirt blaster displacing the sand under the pavers when I get the moss and weeds inbetween my pavers. Have you had any loose pavers after cleaning?
If you are concerned then just re- sand with kiln dried sand. wait for pavers to dry after cleaning, then pour kiln dried sand in a even spread, sweep around with a brush till all gaps are filled, like at the end of this video, th-cam.com/video/oBNQ323XiYE/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Having owned three Karcher pressure washers I’m neve4 going to buy anymore of the yellow junk. Know a very happy AVA owner ; guys dump Karcher they are crap!
Wat een geweldig demonstratie,nu weet ik heel zeker dat ik het nooit zal gaan kopen, dank je wel voor deze uitleg.ik ben U zeer dankbaar!
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I use this on my patio. It’s good. I use weed killer to kill weeds and a patio cleaning head to clean the patio.
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠

And my garden which had garden tiles
Should be try it in a small area first, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great videos ! Explained in detail ..love it ! Want to purchase one T3 ...do you think the cheaper T2 will do same job? Thanks.
Not sure I need to review them too, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 Sorry about the confusion..not the patio cleaner T2 or T3 ...meant to say the actual karcher pressure washer. Thanks.

I’ve got a petrol Honda gx390 200 bar 21lpm with surface cleaner and even that won’t remove weeds
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I have no paving issues and have used the dirt blaster many times, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

You need a pressure washer, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great review! I have a K5 and I was thinking of getting the T5.. sure, the K5 is "stronger" but now I doubt if it will be a good idea to buy it..

The default is the dirt blaster with a skirt very good tool, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
For wooden deck I can imagine it is good. But not to stone.
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I prefer to use the dirt blaster with splashguard (Kärcher 2.642.706.0 Splash Guard).
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Personally I don’t always want to get the sand out of patio gaps lol, I agree that turbo nozzles are great for weeds
