If you look at mcu movies post endgame:
Good, bad, good, bad, bad....
If they sucseed phase 6 (fantastic four, avengers doomsday, spiderman 4, tba doctor strange 3, avengers secret wars) and make it great with movies and great... then marvel is 1000000% back. They are also fixing other problems in the next year.
I so much hope that they go great
While there were indeed some good stuff like No Way Home, Shang Chi, Loki, GOTG 3, and DP&W, rest of phases 4-5 have been mid at best (WandaVision, Tfatws, Hawkeye, and moon knight, I still enjoy some of it, but they’re mid tier for me bc they fell off by the second half of each show) and at worst, absolute trash fires like She hulk, quantumania, the marvels, what if (that show was tragically wasted potential), etc.
And I’m honestly worried about the future. I’m excited for DDBA and F4 first steps, but the rest, I’m pretty skeptical ngl. Brave new world, I’m hearing nothing but bad news about it with the reshoot situation about it with some saying the trailers lied to us. Thunderbolts, I don’t see much interesting stuff other than Bucky going back to winter soldier mode. I just don’t want them to mess up sentry. Ironheart, I’m not watching that, and it’s a show about a character no one really cares about; Riri is not a good character, or even interes in the slightest. EOW and Wonder man, I don’t see anything interesting about it. YFNSM, I’m actually optimistic about, but I feel the animation could be better. Spider man 4, I’m hearing nothing but bad news about it with many ppl mad that it may be in Battleworld when we haven’t got a street level spider man after NWH. But what I’m the most worried about is Doomsday and secret wars because given the lack of clear buildup (as evident with how aimless phases 4-5 feel; Quantumania for example is unsurprisingly one of the most useless MCU films).
So overall, I’m pretty worried about the future; most notably the Dr Doom movies, because it’s like Marvel knew they were in trouble, they knew they have no time to develop him or build him up in any way, so they used a stunt casting choice to try to bolster interest. I’m willing to give Downey’s performance a chance, but the decision felt like a lazy attempt at cash grab. Just my thoughts
