Brilliant video. I just got my Pixel 7. I had iPhone 12 previously and had not used an Android phone for a long while. I combed youtube and luckily found your video which was exactly what I needed. The steps are detailed and clear and easy paced. Avoiding the gesture mode of navigation has been life saving (or at least time saving and saved a lot of hassle!) . All my phones have been Samsung until now.
Loved your hint to install the 3 control buttons at the bottom of the screen.
I could not swipe the gesture back arrow correctly and was feeling very annoyed.

Great video. I'm trying to use my new Pixel 7 to do hands free text and email. I have used iphone forever. It promps me saying who. Subject. Read back. Ready to send. Google assistant is basically silent so I end up having to glance at the phone to see where I am in the process. Any help on making assistant more like Siri? Your video was great. I learned a ton that already is making me like the Pixel more. I want to leave Apple forever and you are helping me make the move. Thank you

I see a lot of comments about how good this video is and how well this man speaks, which is all true. But this is more of a basic tutorial on how to use pretty much every Android in general. It just doesn't particularly pertain to much to the pixel phones. This tutorial would pretty much only benefit really really old people who are new to cell phones or someone who just doesn't know anything at all when it comes to a cell phone.
You hit the nail on the head. Video was made for 1st time smartphone users (of all ages).

I LOVE YOU MAN !!!! I decided I'd been with Samsung for SO long and always had texting issues. I do talk text. It always, no matter what phone I had (Galaxy S7, Note 9, S21 Ultra) it always repeated my sentences, and/or placed a period after every word but when I WANTED a period, and would SAY period, It would SPELL period. AARRRGGGHHH. It would also decide willy nilly to NOT type what I was saying. The mic was pulsing with my voice so I knew it heard me, but just didn't type it. SOOOOO I decided THIS time I'd switch to a different Brand completely. I cried the whole first day. It was NOTHING like my layout of my Samsung phones (which I might add moved all of my folders and apps INTO those folders, and most used contacts screen, flawlessly. This one..... not so much. Hence the reason I'm writing you. I LOVE the first thing you taught me (get those navigation buttons back at the bottom). SOOO thankful for that. But I do have 2 things that I REALLY want to do with this phone, that, I just cannot figure out how to do. I'm SO hoping you can help me.....
I want to create a page on the right of my home page that I can put all of my 12 FAVE contacts in, and then create a 3rd page to the right of that, that has all of my folders, that house 'alike' apps. i.e. FITNESS folder has map my run, polar beat, runkeepers, etc, WATCH has all of my apps for watching like my home cameras, youtube, peacock tv, netflix, etc, SHOP has all of my shopping apps like Amazon, Walmart, ebay, groupon, burger king, Mcdonalds, papa johns, fetch, upside, etc.
I have 14 folders with apps I used all of the time and want them easily accessible. I saw a vid last night that showed me how to CREATE a folder, but not how to add apps to it, NOR how to place it on a different screen.
Can you tell me how to do those things? or make a video showing us dunces how to do that?

I also don't like that ever changing bottom row on the home page that keeps changing apps as I use them. I have 10 apps I had on my home page that I used often, 2 rows, and THOUGHT I'd set that up again, only to discover the bottom row keeps changing :-( Am I stuck with that?
