Is that Elyse Willems? Former hivemind behind Funhaus and GameTrailers productions? Half of internet's married comedy couple, James & Elyse Willems? Love you, Elyyyyyssse, these videos for PBS are the best ❤
Okay, so I clicked this video thinking, "Oh, that girl in the thumbnail, kind of looks like Elyse", not thinking much of it even, only really a half thought. I imagined this girl who look vaguely Elyse like must be the Paleontologist. The part about radioactive bones in the title, is what got me intrigued though. It's what made me click. I've never heard of that. Then the video started playing and I found out it's ACTUALLY ELYSE! Plus I was on a walking around the Torrey Pines State Reserve last weekend, and I started looking at the big sandstone cliffs, hoping to find a fossil, so I guess I had a little Paleontology in the back of my mind. Didn't find one.
It's indeed Elyse! Glad you found her/us. If you'd like to check out past episodes, we have many. th-cam.com/play/PLWu5ajp6Zk8ccmZE1lumqKW9919jqXS9b.html&si=mpCiYp6u9yy5Be5m
Something I've never seen is the personal experience of paleontologists going out to find fossils. It was really cool to hear about Dr. Nate's adventures in Patagonia and Antarctica, I would never think of a helicopter being used to transport anything except an injured person. Dr. Nate has been such a fun guest and I can't wait to visit the Natural History Museum.

Elyse and friends!
Super fascinating info. Thanks Dr. Nate!
The Venn diagram of scientists and people who have borderline eidetic recall of The Far Side comics is a perfect circle.
