- Satellite TV broadcasting has become wide spread and so useful. Even in remote areas one can enjoy highly edutainment or cultural programs. Yet, it can be troublesome or expensive to get a system installed at home, particularly when there is a lack of reliable technicians.In this video series of 5 parts, we completely assemble the components required to get a working video satellite reception system at home. All the elements from the screws/connectors to the receiver passing through the types of LNBs and various types of "satellite finders" found in the market are examined and explained. The series is designed to allow oneself to mount the entire system, or even become a technician installer. We hope it will be very helpful to many.

ONLY Focus the Dish on the Quality and not on the Level of the Signal! Never aligning a Dish for Digital DVB-S/2 on a Level only on Quality the reason is only the lowest BER (bir Error Rate) can repair the defect Signal if necessary. The Level is not importand on Digital Systems. A FEC(forward Error Correction) is build in the Signal to repair the defect Data Packages.

THANK YOU i have used frequency 10804 H 29997 and i have lot of channel.so is it possible to keep the same position AND add other LNB? if possible please for the frequency.

Je pense que cela est possible, même si je n'en ai pas installé personnellement. J'ai constaté que les gens fabriquent un support pour 4 LNB chez un soudeur et positionnent cela au foyer de la parabole. En jouant sur les inclinaisons en s'aidant d'un "Satfinder" qui rend un signal aigu lorsque un satellite est en ligne avec le LNB/parabole, vous devriez pourvoir avoir 4 satellites différents, pas trop éloignés en position bien entendu. Il faudrait également penser à acheter la petite pièce électronique qui collecte les 4 signaux (venant de 4 câbles coaxiaux) pour envoyer vers votre récepteur de satellites. Après il faudrait rechercher les stations sur le récepteur ou sur votre "Satlink" si vous en avez (pas indispensable, normalement le "Statfinder" et le récepteur suffisent). Espérant que ces mots vous seront utiles.
Bonsoir Mr Amadou Keith merci pour vos explications. actuellement ou je vous écris j'ai fais une espérance au hazard et j'ai remarqué que j'ai pu connecter 3 LNB sur ma parabole de 60 cm.
Premièrement j'ai pointé le premier LNB sur 10804 H 30000.le 2eme sur 12015V29950 du côté gauche étant en fasse de la parabole tout prêt du 1er LNB.la tige sur laquelle le 2ème est placé est à une hauteur de 22cm environ et le 3eme LNB est sur le même alignement vertical que le 2eme LNB à une hauteur de 15 cm environ et de fréquence 11096 H 29900.
je continue mes recherches dans le but d'avoir mes 4 LNB.MERCI POUR VOTRE PARTAGE DE CONNAISSANCES ET BON DÉBUT DE SEMAINE.

Hi there, can you do a tutorial on motorised dish? Also can I ask you a question about motorised dish... Basically, I set my local Latitude: 52.2892° and Longitude: -0.6205° according to dish pointer. After that, i aimed my motorised dish on the roof to true south, then I left it on Thor 0.6 w.. i watched FTA on my satellite meter ws6906.. when I went to the receiver. I got no signal. even when i send the satellite to astra, hotbird and other satellite. Can you tell me what have done wrong? do any one know what wrong?
Hello Olu Fash. Here is a suggestion: make sure you have on your receiver the same parameters (XXXXX H (or V) YYYYY) as on your WS6906. The simple name Astra or Hotbird does not mean the real paramaters are associated with the satellite name. Fortunately, you can look those numbers on your WS6906 and type them as new parameters to be associated with your Astra or Hortbird satellite in the receiver (see the user manual). There is no reason you can't get the images on your receiver if it has the same set of parameters than the WS. Please let me know the outcome. AK

Je pense qu'il faudrait "googler" et trouver leur site et les "firmwares" proposés. Cela devrait être facile de mettre à jour le logiciel. Meilleures salutations.
