Repotting with clear nursery pots!
🫙🪴🌿🙌
“Clear pots are superb when you want to see what's going on with your plant's roots and substrate moisture level, and reduce the guesswork when watering.
Ideal for epiphytes like Aroids and Orchids but suitable for all plants (just add a cover pot). Easy peasy to check root health and substrate moisture levels.”

“For some new plant parents, and even experienced plant parents, knowing when to water your plants can be tricky. “Is the soil dry?” “Is the soil too wet?” “Should I wait to water it?” These are all questions we ask ourselves.
BUT, what if there was a way to take the uncertainty out of watering? Where you could actually SEE the soil and root system? Look no further than clear plastic pots!”

Clear pots are a game 🎮 changer 💯
I have not seen any that clear, but I do have clear pots with trays, and they are great. Unfortunately, after a few years they crack.

I greatly appreciate you plant fam!

Hi their! If this is your first with the ZZ, everything above the soil will die off (do not cut it off) to feed the rhizome for the new plant. When it is at it worst, brown and shriveled, cut it off. Keep the soil moist and give it light. Eventually the new sprout will appear. Yes this is a long process. I have watched several videos and that part is always omitted. Good luck!
Thanks so much for the helpful advice Plant fam!
I’ll be sure to apply it the best I can. Also I cut away those brown leaves, to support more growth and keep it in healthy soil 🙏🪴🌿
The clear pots are great!
I use rainwater for my props…No chlorine or chloramine.
Now that’s a great idea for getting the best quality water!
I’ll have to try that for sure with natural rain water 💧
Thanks so much for sharing plant fam 🙌🙌🌿🪴
I just ordered some clear pots and it will be a task to re pot everything. Yes the ZZ plant is slow to propagate it took a whole year for the leaf I took from the plant store ( the plant was so big and beautiful I had to get a leaf from it lol) to finally take off in growth now its a beautiful plant of its own.
Thanks so much for letting me know, I’m sure you’ll enjoy those clear pots, especially once those roots and rhizomes starts showing lol🙌🙏🫙🍃🌱
I look forward to seeing and hearing about your ZZ plant update
Hi Steven. Where did you buy them. All the clear pots I find are flimsy & crappy. The ones in the video are pretty nice. Maybe you found nice ones. Thanks, Dave
Where can I purchase the clear pots your using. Most are very flimsy. They look much better. Thanks!
Thanks for commenting and letting me know plant fam! I’ll definitely edit and post the links in the description!!
