Sir youhave given useful information . Please answer my question. If walls absorb moisture from ground, paint comes off, should we put tiles. Bur aren't we locking moisture and if it doesn't dry will walls get more damaged from inside. What to do to stop moistue absorption from ground in ground floor houses, I have asked many people no reply, you please help

Use tile fix adhesive of any brand to stop moisture absorption, for wall and floor tiles, don't mix it with any kind of grade cement..
Multiple types of tile adhesives are available in the market based on their purpose...

You are misguiding people , with lack of information better not to misguide people in Ceramics and vitrified (GVT) , both tiles have glaze so as far as maintenance and scratch to resistance is concerned it’s same for both the surfaces rather post laying ceramic body more stick to the surface bcz of porosity where as vitrified body is not fixed properly on surface bcz of less porosity, first study characteristics of both the tiles then only educate ..

6 mm size rarely available is some brands.
Generally 10 mm is good thickness for bathroom wall tiles
Go for good brands like Kajaria, AGL, somany etc
