Love your videos. I’m planning to move to the Philippines it’s just so amazing there people are so friendly I’ve been a couple times already can’t wait to get back. Your videos could be twice as long I love the interactions with people
Your wallet engraving shot was great. Excellent Filipino artist deserves a big tip. Thanks to your recognition. Boracay is lively and fun out there. Enjoy the rest of your days in Boracay. It’s been great since. I’m planning to go there with my family soon.
9:50 is called Alibata/Baybayin the first lettering and writing system back before Spain came. It's usually written by each _baybay_ (syllable?) hence the name, and goes through the vowel sounds, represented by the dots, incorporated in each consonant (e.g. bo, ra, ka, i = ᜊ ᜍᜃᜌ᜔) The cross under the letter means the consonant is excluded, only vowel is sounded.
@@onlynice9567 yeh, apparently there was an issue with Alibata vs Baybayin and Baybayin was the one considered as the correct term and Alibata had unfounded basis of legitimacy Source: quick Google search.

Boracay is way improved now, it was a bit messy and dirty pre pandemic, it is nice that Mergim does not skip any activity, showing us the real happenings, yes you are better vlogging alone and be the narrator and presenter for the curious viewers to enjoy, what you see is what you get, welcome all to the islands of the Philippines.
You captured the Boracay nightlife starting with the ditty "Loving You" quite excellently. And the insane island vibe reverberating with the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore mixing with the band and the nightlife scene. Quite a play there you made for an island display of warmth towards people like you who appreciate our culture. Thanks for being generous to the bayside artist etching an island shoreline with the tropical coconut tree on your wallet! Mabuhay ka!
You did a fabulous vlog of the night life in Boracay, Mergim style! Less frills, go with the flow stroll. The artist is fascinating to watch as he painted your wallet!
Without a doubt. 😂 him saying that the guy’s work on his wallet was worth only 100 pesos made me scratch my head. That’s a measly 2 pounds or so. If he had the same thing done in England, he would pay 100 pounds or maybe more. I guess for him workers from developing countries deserve less than those who are from developed countries. What a shame, really.
Hi sir you know everyday i am checking your channel. My days not complete if not see or watching your videos ❤️❤️❤️. Keep posting. And thanks sharing good experience of you in my country. Actually i miss Philippines.
Man, that artwork on your money clip looks awesome. I hope you can find a way to lock the artwork, spray something, a locker or a top coat, to preserve it...
Great vlog, Mergim. I would say that you have the best Boracay vlog I’ve watched among all the foreign vloggers. You’ve shown so much about the place. Very informative but entertaining at the same time. 👍
Mergim you didn’t try the shirts! XL in the 🇵🇭don’t really fit foreigners. There are so many restos to choose from…which one do you pick? I’d be confused 😂 The guy is pretty artistic 💙 Filipinos can sing, dance, draw etc. Boracay has an amazing vibe in the day and at night 🏖️🌴🌅😎
Good job sir mergim, your vlog more informative, go to others place's in the Philippines and show it your followers how beautiful and more interesting and more informative, thanks,❤😊
That is the writing in the Philippines pre colonial period. It is called "Baybayin". I am not sure if it is still being taught in school but when I was in elementary school, I know how to write in Baybayin. Now, I totally forgot how. The seller is funny asking you: What are you looking for? Just tell me the truth. I will give you pandemic price.
I was there in 2005, they used to have tables and chairs on the beach under those coconut trees. I had the best hamburger there better than 20 dollar hamburger here in Chicago, I think that was the same market that was burned down in 2005.
Wow! Are you still there in Bora? Really would love to go back there soon. Glad it's back to full business after the pandemic. ❤❤❤ Great video! Keep sharing po.
it seems they dont allow tables outside of the restobar anymore..they used to have tables underneath the coconut trees so you can drink and enjoy the breeze
the bar in the sand rocked even though few peeps were there by the time I showed up :P the toursit hotels were expensive so their bars um yeah probably
@@wavemaker2077 Not really. But sizing in the Phils. compared to like in Thailand is bigger. And sometimes too I wonder really if they have a fix measurements of the sizing of their shirts, trousers.

It's so much easier to interact with the locals because they can converse in English.

Mergim, the great British explorer 🇬🇧
How is this dude still less than 100k subscriber,😂😂😂
Hes actually very entertaining and the quality of his vlogs are getting so much better too
Just remind Mergim the Shirt size XL is different in Phillipines. For comparison, the US size XL is XXXL in Philippines 😁
It's the same with other SE asian countries. The XL in them is the medium size in the Phils.
@@thanadon5699 Does it mean the Filipinos are bigger than them?

when you go back to where you find the fish soup.. you can wait for the fire dancer to perform..
U shouldve tried that HaloMango so our Mangoes can redeem themselves from that one sour mango sticky rice u had before 🤭🤭🤭
Hahaha pasalubong but for yourself only :) it should be for someone else hehe
You can put the shirt on you and see if the length from one shoulder to the other match.
Wow! Mergim is too generous to give P500.00 all out for a small design that could just cost P50-P100. Hehehe
🇵🇭💪❤️
There are many traps in Boracay, be careful
