More videos like these. Also, i miss the "you flash you lose" series ughh those were so fun to watch!
Absolutely phenomenal. You know it's badass when Chris is floored. At this point, I choose to believe it really is magic.
Witchcraft*
Chris is also just a human being. And that's the beauty of magic, when you don't know how to do it and you're just thrilled. As if Chris was the GOAT who knows everything instand. lol
MADNESS! Those transformations give me hope and inspiration, wonderful, beautiful art on every level 🙏💛
Videos like this is how i found Chris originally. I love his magic/cardistry/slight of hand videos. Then I fell in love with the beauty and intricacies of the puzzle videos, which eventually led me to his escape room/gaming channel. And now im head over heels enthralled with the Area52 channel. Everything Chris does and sets his heart and mind to is unquestionably breathtaking and remarkable. Been a long time fan and will continue to be a fan for an even longer time! Keep up the incredible work Chris 👏
Bro your reaction and seeing you get excited, gets me excited and put a smile on my face. Thank you!
Absolutely mind boggling video, thanks for showin these guys off, looking forward to checking out the rest of their content :)
These types of videos are why I originally got into your content Chris. Watching you react and geek out over things in the magic or card world just gives me such a boost. Seeing people love what they do and loving what other are doing in the world you come from. Yeah the puzzles and all your other content is fantastic, but this always kept me coming back and keeps me coming back to rewatch your content. Don't change yourself and don't stop being the best version of you.
Glad your posting magic content again, as much as novody ever doubts it its always lovely to be reminded how much you still love magic as well as the puzzles 🙂
Hey, Chris. Thank you for sharing this. I love what you said at the end of the video about the sheer appreciation for the insanity of the sleights these guys are pulling off. Pure sleight of hand is what attracted me to magic 20 or so years ago. I never got anywhere near as good as you guys. But I still absolutely love seeing stuff like this. Also, it makes me feel a lot better about the art we love when we see some of the younger guys pulling off such amazing and ridiculously creative moves.
Cardistry like this looks like real Magic. when you know how something works (or should) and it still breaks your brain, that's real Magic. i LOVE watching stuff like this and seeing Chris' reactions.
exactly what i was going to say. The amount of practice to pull stuff like this off is wild.
These guys are totally amazing! Never heard of them before, but will follow the links.
I am thoroughly enjoying Area 52. Such a fresh approach, where solid investigative work becomes infused into a storyline. I am learning details that have never been published to this extent. When a new episode lands, it is the highlight of my week (yeah, I know, get a life right.. 😂). Thank you!
Glad you like them!
1. 🤯 That's just so impressive
2. I look forward to seeing the Area 52 content. So much so that I'm waiting to watch ep.2 until I know I won't be interrupted. The quality of storytelling and videography is top notch.
Ah, dude. Ep. 2 is really good! That shits is crazy, man. The 2nd episode might even be better than the 1st
The first videopart was information overflow and the rest just mindbreaking!!!
Really love to see these again! Dope! I always want to help the algorithm for you, and think what you're doing is super cool. Some of us just aren't into puzzles as much as magic and sleight of hand, but I loved those reaction to reddit videos, your fresh takes and ability to try things along is just an awesome mechanic for a segment and works. That being said, I never want you to "play to the dealer", so keep making videos that make you inspired and that you love making, the rest will sort itself out. Keep it up man, great stuff. I subscribed to the other channel too and liked the videos, keep kicking!
BTW, 2nd channel is absolutely amazing! I'm so thrilled you started this new content!
All I can say is, "Wow...!" Thanks for showcasing that cardistry. It was great!!
By far my fav type of vids..not only the slight of hand vids which brought me to this channel so long ago but also your epic explanations and reaction to top tier slights the world has to offer 🙏👏👏👏👏👏
Glad you enjoy it!
I love cardistry. It looks so visually pleasing and magical and you know whoever is doing it put so much time and effort into perfecting it. It's beautiful and I have so much respect for it.
Wow, amazing and so well videos. Thanks for showing these guys.
Nothing beats that very first video though so far. His snap changes with his pinky finger (that is freakishly the same length as his other fingers) are insane.
So happy to see u exited and happy!
Happy to see a new video! Love your stuff so much man!
Wow.. that guy at the near end that made a triangle of cards that created an illusion that the card changed from spades to hearts.. genius!! That's magic..rest was just amazing slight of hand. Btw Chris, thanks for your subchannel area 52, remote viewing is a fascinating topic. That Uri geller guy seems like a colorful humanitarian. I remember him from my youth as the crazy spoonbender.. but now I got the nuanced version. So hats off for that. Keep rockin' bro!!!
At this point I’m not sure why I’m here?…to watch the undoubtedly awesome magic or your reaction in being blown away by the magic! 🤣 Area 52 is blowing my mind Chris! Your content is so unique & right on the cusp of having millions of people following you on your newest adventure! Oh I can’t wait to see more of what’s coming up next 🫣😲🫶🏻🇨🇦 2:08
Holy moly, those were some insnae smooth work from both of them, damn. Time to go to work and practise Chris 😁😁
i love these kind of videos! thank you!!!
You're so welcome!
Thanks for the variety! Love your work
Glad you felt like doing one of these, I missed it
Me too!
Unbelievable! I never heard of them! So much creativity !!!
So glad to see you being happy watching magic again! Miss you brother
Yah, was at work saw the notification figured I'd give it some love real quick lol, but this.... this is living art and mystery.. f'n incredible!!!
dang, I'm SO GLAD you're reacting to this! I was like "Chris is gonna make a reaction right" and was juuuust barely starting to feel like it might not come :P
I am amazed by ALL of these card tricks, the fact that Chris is amazed makes me even MORE AMAZED!!! 😳
It is great to watch talented people display their skill - whether at cards, woodworking, or fixing anything. I get the same good feeling when Chris solves puzzles.
These are the videos I enjoy! Thanks Chris! 🤙🏻
I so love you doing this! Yes! Thank you! :*
I just love watching you getting fooled and enjoying it.
I love how an adjusment to timing or angle can add life to a classic handling technique.
Chris the Area52 idea is crazy❤
I really love it .
You always making things increasable🎉❤.
Keep going
appreciate your style & art, thank you
Hey chris! Love the content fam! Been subscribed since you had less than 100k! I watch all your vids and have been supporting your 1st brand! Stay blessed fam🙏🏽
I appreciate it!
We need more of these! I'd imagine they might be easier to produce than the other videos too!
Super fun stuff!! Keep trucking Chris!!
Always happy when you share these. Going to go dust off the cards and practice now. Thanks Chris!
I've never seen such a fantastic combination of cardistry and sleight of hand, amazing!
I've missed you. I've missed your enthusiastic reactions. Love this.
Love your videos!! You should do a few more of these types of videos.
The intro melody from your documentary has a great unique memory imprint. Instantly recognizable to your content, a melody I've never heard before. Hope that it's one you keep for your many documentaries to come.
YOU ARE AWESOME CHRIS AND THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THIS!
You bet
That was freaking amazing stuff. I'm going to check out your other channel now
Awesome thank you!
Chris, I was at a bar in Kelowna over the weekend. Ran into a street magician who blew my MIND. him and I talked about you and your channel, magic for a couple of hours while he went through all his tricks for me! Really cool to meet a stranger, and bond while we talk about another stranger on the internet haha
It's my first day at work, and I'm bonding with my boss over your videos. He has a deck of 1st cards on his desk. I keep a Hanayama Galaxy in my pocket. Total geeks, I know. Love you, and your team. Thanks.
I love your reaction and appreciation you have for all things magic
Mind blowing impressive! Love that joy you feel when you're thoroughly fooled. Magic is real folks.
Love the vid and your reactions Chris! Just a side note, if you want to change your jump back timing for the youtube app, you can go to Settings, General, and change double-tap to seek from 10 seconds to 5 seconds. All the best!
Love the new channel.
damn yoo been awhile havent watched your videos for some reason your stuff didn't come up in my algo for awhile ..like at least for 5 months + weird.....now your back in my algo..even though i always remained subscribed to your channel ..anyways glad to see your still here Chris ....loved and still love your videos...and damnn V6 looking crazyyyyy firee
Love you Chris been watching for years. I remember when you were filming out of your little apartment. So proud for you brother.
Maaan, this is beautiful stuff to watch. Those guys are great. I don’t even know how it’s possible to do some of the things they are doing. Incredible
3:51 I can see that he had the other card in his other hand but how intensely fast he was !! I simply couldn’t comprehend what he did at first !! Incredibly talented !!
Like HOLY SH03Zzz!! And I love the editing and the black and their wardrobe is awesome this video was simply just too good🤦🏾♂️
Always fun to see Chris getting 🤯
These are the videos that made me subscribe. More please 😊
Great video ! I love watching a good bit of cardestry” it’s nice for the camera, although I do love seeing a bit of a performance and some personality 👍🏼😁
been watching a while you taught me to do a snap change and many other tricks glad to see ya doing well much love brother
Love the area 52 content!
Following both channels!
I discovered Jack Paton and Heath Cards because of your first reaction video. Now they do probably my favourite cardistry videos. This one was absolutely amazing.
Exactly right about the Slight of Hand. well said.
YYYYEEEEEAH! Watching Chris` fooled face
thank you for sharing, this was chefs kiss twice. Wonderful mind-blowing slight of hand. I will definitely show them some love
Fresh new look! It suits you well. Great video man!
That was sick, man. Those guys are phenomenal. :)
Such a great thing to fool the foolers. The art of astonishment at its best.
Watched this when it was first screened at cardistry con, absolute beast of a video. Still to date my fav video from con
Watching those kinds of videos is like watching skateboarding videos. Very cool!
im absolutely hooked on cardistry!! Not any good but I love doing it and watching these guys!
I love your reaction at 9:30 ;) Insane trick and effect of cards sandwiches
Jason Maher has a great few videos detailing the fundamentals used in many tricks like this, often street performs them too. You can learn all the basic moments needed, everything from The Mechanic Grip to basically any skill you need to create your own performance like this.
I love this stuff. I like seeing the stuff you do with cards too.
This length video is perfect for my viewing habits. I love your long-form content, i just don’t have the time often. Also, do more “you flash, you lose”!
sick tricks! good luck with your second channel. looks dope
Appreciate it!
8:40 I remember learning this in The Trilogy by dan and dave when I was a kid, and the main principle was that the card(s) you want to flip in mid-air, are bent the opposite direction of the deck. Allowing air between the card(s) and the deck.
Can also do it with a deck flip! Or the cards slightly lifted on your fingers and snapping your hands down very quickly.
Loved it. Great work
Like the chair Chris! Killer friggin video too 😂
I've missed these videos!
WOOOOWW! Excited for your other channel as well!
Thanks for posting, Chris! My brain hurts trying to follow all of their moves!! Please Please Please - keep doing what you are doing!!!
Watching that gave me Rondy Mullen 80 and 90s skateboard video vibes. Doing tricks people never even imagined as a thing in just a chill presntation of the greatest genius to ever get on a skateboard. Everyone knows Tony Hawk but when you hear Tony talk about Rodney those are vibes i get from the video here doing the unimaginable things people decades from now will still go umm how how !?! and think this all occured so long ago and its still bonkers.
This is why i love love love color changes, among all magic tricks i think color change is the most powerful effect you can do.
Simply awesome. But i think I have figured out 2 of them. Even though those are simple but it blow my mind
These are brain bending! 😮😮
This is one of my favorite vids you've put out
Freaking fun video! I love these reactions! Love your stuff mon ami!
Glad to see a magic video!
3:50 the cards are connected.. slo motion show the cards switch and snap together via something stretchy..
Awesome commentary at the end, cheers!
And I got same reactions as you had to almost all of the sleights hahahaha which is great cause I know it's really that good. Just love your reaction vids, keep 'em comin'!
I like the way you start off trying to help the guy and even saying his music is better. Just old school logic man. Keep up the good reactions
that was fire
It was so great watching your reactions to the sleight of hand tricks. I know it made my awe of them 10x more! Magicians know best haha God bless!
I want to see some of these tricks with the slow mo guys, these are absolutely awesome
Options. Speed.. Low.. Even slower... Options speed slow/save. Capcut/slow again.. 👍👍👍
