Hey Justin amazing figure review! Although while watching I thought of something, remember when you said Hot Toys should make blast effects for the clone troopers? Well would it be possible for you to peg R2's flame effects into the blaster? If so then it could be a makeshift blast effect until Hot Toys make official ones...or if they make them.
That would be sick! Unfortunately I tried it and the peg is too big

Totally awesome. You had your work cut out for you on this one. With all the accessories that was included. You nailed it. I remember almost all of them but I was stumped as well with the ones you weren’t sure about. With as many times I have seen the movies I still couldn’t account for them. What a great video. I like the grime for this one. I think they did an outstanding job on this one.

I had the Sideshow version and it was nothing but a hunk of plastic I sold it a month later but if I pick this one up I'll probably build a diorama with dirt on the bottom make it blend in with R2
I have the Sideshow one as well. Feels quite cheap. The middle foot feels like it could break at any time from putting it in and out. I have it displayed on 3 foot and once in a while I always need to close some of the panels because they keep popping up. At least I got it for really cheap on an Ebay listing.

Also, I hope you know that R2-D2 is tool that he uses the most. It’s his data pro. Two in on that accessory there’s a mystery on it. I don’t know, but you can pull it, and then it actually looks like that R2-D2 is he using his accessory or tool

I want an R2 but I can never justify the $200+ price tag for a little droid guy. They always slam him full of accessories that nobody will ever use. Kinda wish they would make a figure then sell an accessory pack that could be used by more stuff. Idk. I'd buy a clone trooper accessory pack.

That's why I was curious about the price of the Ep7 one since it doesn't have any panels that open. Unfortunately it's basically the same price as the new Ep2 version. The Ep2 version will probably get more expensive when it gets harder to find but right now you don't save much money for going with the simple one.

Can you put in anakins or obiwans lightsaber from rots? Because in the clone wars anakin and obiwan infiltrated a slave organization and r2 held their sabers. I know you cant fit both but fitting either one in would be awesome

I think the Tamashii Nation Diecast Figure is better. It has almost no accessories and no dirt painted on him, but the whole thing is metal. It is hefty, comes with a stand, and from what I understand, more solidly built

The one thing they got wrong is his middle leg height. Too tall. the correct angle for r2 on 3 legs is a bit lower than that. He's leaning too far back in 3 legged mode.
