I recommended to it a few people, they say it's not their type of anime. Oh boy are they wrong, this anime is "everyones" type of anime. That's what makes it good is everyone will like it
@@admiralkaede it's hard to describe what it's about however what makes the anime great is the characters and the story. The story and characters in here are done extremely well. But if I had to describe what it's about it's about basically a "creature" that becomes human but it doesn't know how to be human and it has to learn how to be human through trial and error. It meets some humans and they teach him how to become human and he starts to develop intelligence and emotions and make friends until unfortunate things happen and then he feels pain and evolves into his next form. He takes on the form of what ever causes him physical or emotional pain, generally which can only be activated by death. So as things die, he takes on their form sometimes not just human but also animals too. But forget about this you cannot use words to describe the plot without it sounding dumb, just watch it and you'll soon see how great this anime is. Most people will avoid watching it because they think it's not their type of anime but I will just say it has action and a lot of adventure in this anime too, so if you think there won't be fighting there is fight scenes and if you don't like action anime don't worry because action is not the priority in this series and it gives you a lot of moments without action too

I think the raw fish he ate was probably what actually killed him. (Cuz an injury can’t kill you in a slow way. Although the injury did speed up his death.)
That was expected not gonna lie bec the cover has this boy and he's already so sick and injured , also he had green eyes in the poster too. But this is a good start I'm not sure if I'm gonna like this enough to be among the list but I'm giving it the try.

Anyone else think they completely miscast the dub voice of the beholder? In the original his voice is low, cold, and emotionless. It fits his character perfectly. The dub voice just doesn't sound right

No right from the first episode you get immediate events happening...episode 5 huge event happens. All throughout the anime from episode 1 all to the end there's no boring parts except for maybe the last arc. But that's redeemed with the last episode which makes up for it
Possible spoilers. So he cuts his leg and possibly gets it infected, then catches a cold because he's clearly not dressed for the weather. I'll be honest, it was sad but I kind of saw this coming. But that ending with the dog transforming, I did not see happening.
Fun fact: Jacob Hobkins voices the boy in this episode. He previously played Gumball in the Cartoon Network show for a couple of seasons.
