How to remove a boat from a trailer.

- BE CAREFUL IF YOU TRY THIS! ...But if you own a aluminum boat this is a simple way to allow you access to work on your trailer without the use of machinery. Make sure you take precautions to minimize rigging failure. pulling a hull off of a trailer you run a high risk of damaging the attachment points especially on a wood transom. Loading a hull back onto the trailer puts a increase load on the bow eye, make sure your eye can handle the stress. Make sure your winch and the strap are in good working order and large enough to pull your hull back onto the trailer before ever attempting this. Follow this video at your own risk.

Oh no oh my .... ya I watched it but no way say "DROP". Wish me luck I'm taking my 1977 boat off the trailer alone today. I had an idea but I've watched several videos and feel confident! But I don't want any help. Also shes made from kevlar and I love GOD, my boat and then my husband. Ya I promise tho nothing will be dropping 😂🙏🙏

Hey mate... Australian boatie here. Something I've noticed about American boat trailers is you tend to put your axles right near the rear of your trailers, where we tend to put them around the centre of the boat length (ignoring the draw bar). Doesn't that put a lot more down force on your towball? Wouldn't it be easier to tow (and to move around when not on the car) with the axles more central to the trailer?
My boats specifically are strictly engineered for bowfishing. We put 4 guys on a deck to fish in inches of water. Our boats must float level or it does not perform well. So all of our boats are very heavy in the rear because of it. It is common for our trailer setups to have 3-600lbs of tounge weight for a 20' boat.
