Do you have any interest in working on young seedlings? I would love to see a video series from you that starts a bonsai tree from the very beginning. Thank you as always for sharing your beautiful bonsai.
Beautiful trees, I like the Trident Maples; they grow into such amazing shapes when cared for by an expert such as you. Thank you for the chance to see your trees.
I love your videos! I’m a novice at creating bonsai but I’ve been learning over the past two years. Could you do a video on how to create an azalea bonsai? Kim🇨🇦
I wish I could buy pots like those little ones for the grasses in the uk 🇬🇧 but the selection here is just not very good. If anybody knows where to buy pots like those please reply.
I am not responsible for creating the definition of "bonsai" but (for me) any plant in a pot with a trunk and branches is bonsai. If it is a good-looking bonsai is another subject. But plants in a pot without a trunk and branches are not bonsai "in my opinion". 😊
In Japan, bonsai is a tree that has been grown in pots for many years. The tree just picked from the mountain is called "Hachiue" in another way. That's why Japanese bonsai has no scratches.
For me, bonsai = miniature tree. The pot has no role in it, even though the definition gives it undeserved importance. Miniature trees can be grown on a slab, a rock, deadwood, nursery pots, raised bed & even in the ground. On youtube, search for "biggest yamadori farm on earth" to see a video by channel Bonsai dashu. If those trees growing in the field are presented in a bonsai pot, nobody can say it is not bonsai. Those are all miniature trees in the ground. The pot has no relevance at all. If i remove a exhibition winning bonsai tree from its pot and plant it into the ground, does it stop being a bonsai instantly ? How can the pot decide what is bonsai or not ? Even a freshly cut & potted air layer qualifies as bonsai, as long as it looks a miniature tree, usually the upper part of a existing bonsai tree . A pine tree can sit in a pot for years looking like a bush or garden tree but with the right styling, it can instantly look like a miniature tree. So time spent in the pot is also irrelevant.
@@VinnyChirayil Trees full of scratches from the mountains are not called bonsai. Is there a small tree with a beautiful trunk that is not scratched and is taken from the mountain? Such trees are of no value in Japan.

It means making from seedlings, isn't it?
I often make it from materials, so I'll think about it.
Beautiful collection, congratulations, thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone.

What product do you spray on the trunk of the maple tree? Is it to remove the foam?
We use water to get rid of the moss.
