Fieldsports Britain - Kristoffer Clausen eats fox + chasing rabbits with lurchers, episode 105

We are catching rabbits with lurchers, we are decoying crows and pigeons, and we even have a bloke eating a fox. On this week's Fieldsports Britain, ace hunter Kristoffer Clausen talks about living in the wilds of Norway for a whole year. He is over in the UK to enjoy some crow shooting with Mark Gilchrist. Nearby, Andy 'Crowman' Crow is decoying in the pigeons that are feeding on acorns at this time of year. Next - after David Wright gets emotional on the news stump (he is insanely jealous of Adam Henson who is on the programme too) - we are lamping rabbits with lurchers on Dartmoor with professional rabbit-catcher Ed Cook. Ed takes 20,000 rabbits a year. Then we're off to Somerset for a day out with the South Somerset Ferreters who are also using lurchers to catch the rabbits that coming out of a couple of long buries. We have a grandstand view of the action. And finally, staying in Somerset, we join the popular Pass It On lads and lasses as they pass on the joys of hunting, shooting and fishing at an open day for local schoolchildren. Sorry to say it, but Kristoffer is not a person that has any huge fan base up here in Scandinavia. Not any more, that is. Lying (and earning money on it) is not something that is taken easily upon.

I think that you miss the point; a lie is a lie. Earning money by lying is nothing but fraudulent behavior.
In reply to your question regarding who is the best European hunter director I have no answer. I do not know them all, you see. It still baffles me that you even ask, since it has nothing to do with Kristoffer.
However; if you feel that your Norwegian heritage has been trampled upon when I simply point out a liar, I just say "Lars Monsen". He is the real deal, and is Norwegian.

Very sad that you act as a microphone stand and advertisement for Kristoffer Clausen! He has fooled all his former fans in Norway telling that he was in the wilderness for a whole year. Maybe his father was sick but KC travelled around hunting elsewhere, stayed in hotels, cabins and so on, eating prepared food and having a jolly time. And at the same time telling his fans via his blog that he was living outside in the woods and barely surviving on what he could shoot, find or fish. SHAME ON YOU!

Dear Jan. I believe that you are showing off a very bad side of yourself. I have in no way, directly or implied, said that Kristoffer is a bad person because of his nationality. I did, however, point out that his year in the wilderness was a pure fraud, and that he took peoples money by lying. I understand that you for some reason got "robbed" of a personal hero who turned out to be a fraud. I do feel sorry for you if that is so, but it has got nothing to do with any sort of envy on my behalf.
