new MUNA fan here! This is the first recording I've heard live. Ok -- so. The lead singer here - she can really, actually, sing. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I was bracing myself as I usually do to see what was going to happen with the computers out of the way. She does NOT disappoint one bit.
I was there in person for this recording, and this one song alone doesn't showcase just how good she is live. Katie is AMAZING! Def look up more live shows of theirs, you won't be disappointed!
"If U Love Me Now" and this one are my all-time favorites. Such a powerful song. I hope they came to South America, I would take a plane and multiple debts even they don't come to Chile.
hey i’m trying to figure it out rn. the tuning is DADGAD ( like a lot of their songs). the chords i’ve figured out so far are 770600 | 990700 | 440200 | 550400. pretty easy cause you just slide the same shape the whole time. i’ll reply again when i figure more out :)
chorus is 990700 | 550400 | next looks like 005050, but i prefer a less dissonant chord and play 000700 to 770600. the bridge uses pretty much the same chords starting with the 7 one. at “thin” katie briefly goes to 220100 and continues with the reg chords. or at least that’s what it looks like to me. hope this helps!
