You can get on disk one after you out run the Midgar Zolom you'll go though the Mythril Mine. after you go though the mine you'll see forest outside, run around in the forest until you encounter Yuffie beat her talk to her,she will ask you five questions and you have say the right answers to have her join you. Word of warning, after you beat her don't use the save point or go to the menu screen until she joins or you will have to find and beat her again.
am I the only one that remembers having to push a button on the control panel to make the plane land? because i remember it. i remember being STUCK in the air for a while trying to get the stupid thing to land until i figured out cloud could shimmy over to the controls.
Don't know if it still counts, but to get Yuffie you only need to have already passed that cave where you meet the Turks Rude, Elena and Tseng (don't remember the exact name). After that point, you can walk around in any forest area in the world and Yuffie will randomly spawn. After you beat her you must answer the questions she'll make correctly, or she'll steal some stuff from you and run away, making you do all the process again.

how did you get yuffie? i don't even have her yet and i have cid lol
