I think it would be worthwhile for you to do a build video of a sabre and not just these still shots. Your solution is really simple and I think people would enjoy watching you put one together

    That’s a fun little project!
Impressed by using plasti dip over slip rings. And the knobs for end caps too.
On a side note, if anyone can’t find the sprinkler heads at HD, look for a “hose mender” in the garden or plumbing section.

NGL I always wanted to get the build-a-saber parts to build a light saber bat'tleth, just for giggles' sake.
Always good seeing the various ways people make their prop light saber hilts, and a seasonally appropriate video too!

What? This is now a DYI channel... Spector Creative Creates with today's sponsor Home Depot.
This was a nice diversion from the usual content. I was both surprisingly amused and remarkably impressed. Thank you for revealing this hidden facet.

I made mine out of a sink tube and installed it myself with a soundboard from a toy lightsaber, but then I decided to upgrade the soundboard to a board from SaberForge.

Fantastic video! I have an original instruction manual that uses the actual items used from the movies (graflex flash handle) - I actually picked one up at the flea market 25+ years ago and it is sitting there waiting for me to make Luke’s lightsaber - good motivating video to do it now!

It looks a lot like a fancy nozzle... Instead of using the stone to make the blade, you should use water from your faucet. Water blade! LOL

Seriously though it's pretty cool what you can do with a pile of spare parts.

If I were to make my own I would either make the hole in the wood a lot wider or use pvc pice to allow electronics on

Do I spy the lion from Wonderfalls (just without the smooshed face) behind your lightsaber?

Cool idea and the saber came out great, but this video was about twice as long as it could have been if you didn't ramble so much and go into unnecessary detail. also it would have been good to show yourself making one

Wait, the lightsaber process that costs hundreds ISN'T the only option at Disney? I'm surprised they have welfare sabers, seems like they'd be cannibalizing their sales to an extent.
