Great battle report, It's interesting how the game flows from original plans to the ultimate ending. I like the issuing of orders and random events. Brings a bit of realism to the games, which a lot of other games channels seem to lack with their single joint game objectives. Keep up the great work mate..
Thanks for putting together such a great report. I'm putting together 6mm British and French at the moment and trying to base flexibly. Currently planning 4x 20mm square bases for each unit to allow formations in BP aswell as use in other systems. Do you think this is overkill? Did you use 60x30mm here?
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. The infantry are closer to 40/20mm and the cavalry is about 70/15mm. I think your plan should work pretty well and the flexibility for different games is a great asset.
Would be intrigued to know the changes you made to the rules to make the game “more historical”. Personally, find Blackpowder good for beginners but not very satisfying for older Napoleonic gamers.
Sorry I didnt respond sooner, I will be releasing a video soonish that will explain in a bit more detail what we do in our games, and the rule set we have created that we find works really quite well. Thanks again.
