I've been aware of Reverend for a long time, but I never had a burning desire for one. Until the other day I walk into my local music store, buying some small stuff like strings or something. And there it was...hanging on a wall - this baritone. In black, with black 3-ply pickguard. It was love at first sight. I was considering for a while getting new baritone. I still had Gretsch baritone at the time, it was my first baritone, it taught me what I like and dislike about that style of instrument but I wanted something different. That day it was a complete stroke of luck that I found exactly what I never knew I wanted. I love hot it doesn't feel any weirder to play than my strat. And it looks like a complete chameleon. You can rip brain bursting metal riffs tuned so low it becomes barely audible, or show up with it to a blues jam. It will never look or sound out of place. It looks modern, retro-futuristic, and like it came from the 60s all at the same time. Such an elegant design.
Good choice! We've got a couple options in stock right now - www.chicagomusicexchange.com/search?view=products&q=reverend%20baritone#/filter:model:Descent
Starting with the Twin Peaks theme is a great choice.
So cool. Never forget Joel’s demo of these when they first came out, one of my favorite demos ever.
Please bring these back! Need the Coral!
Not sure the right way to demo a baritone guitar is with a capo on the 4th. fret.
Not sure we used the capo for the whole demo…
I’ve been wanting a reverend for years now I’m shopping for a baritone, looks like perfect timing..
I got the one with the tremolo. Stays in tune and it’s a great long arm for subtle clean effects. So happy with the feel of the neck.
