so much plastic is not healthy and pottery barn does has some echo friendly options and is classy. i agree with you on quality
The cups are funny,my husband did with McKenzie Childs cups at Neiman Marcus 😅😊 but his name only has 3 letters.

Actually if you go to the website they have awesome sales! I bought a bedroom set that I love and will have for a lifetime that cost me less than if I bought it at my local furniture store. Check out the sales and look at different times especially after the holidays.

I didn’t think the quilt price was bad, I’m a quilter that’s made full bed size quilts and they take a lot of time and cost quite a bit to make if you’re using high quality materials.
That is good to know - I am glad to hear the price is reasonable... although I am curious how much you charge? Do you have a shop? I would love to support you. I have a friend who designs clothes and we have had so many conversations about quilt jackets. Would love to hear your thoughts on that. :) Maybe Ill go back for that blanket - I think it is so beautiful.
@@dreamingofthefarm3490 it’s just a long time hobby, Iv had people ask me to make them quilts for their beds to charge but I don’t have a shop or anything, but I can give you around about prices that would be fair for quilts, now keep in mind most people send quilts out to be quilted by machine, so most piece their tops then send out to be quilted and binded however I do all my work my self, king around 450-600, queen, 350-400, twin and full around 200-300, baby blankets 85. I give a Range price because some quilt tops or the quilting it’s self can be more elaborate. Hope this helps! Iv seen people charge even more sometimes but this is my general take on labor and material. ❤️

Look on their website. I personally DISLIKE when videos show prices. It takes extra time when you can find the prices easy enough online. That time can be spent showing more items! Just another way to look at it.

Pottery Barn has beautiful merchandise, but it is mostly overpriced. A lot of times you are paying for the name. There are other places you can get similar items at much more reasonable prices, with great quality. After all, most things are made in China. What might change is the design.

Honestly, I prefer to buy a few good things in Pottery Barn Barn than buy a lot of Chinese cheap things as she said quality over quantity, but that's only my opinion

What in HELL happened to Pottery Barn??? I mean seriously. I had to take a double take 😩 I thought maybe this was a Pottery Barn Teen or Kids store?? But no - it's the regular aka Adult PB store?? What is with all the cutesy (some call it whimsical) snowmen, santas, gnomes, candy canes, cats, dogs, cheap polyester sherpa covered pillows, stockings, throws, whatever they can put it on...ugh!!! I find this seriously weird compared to what PB used to be. I'd say PB in the 90s and early 2000s was more like Arhaus and RH and Crate and Barrel or CB2. Classier, more adult decor. Their faux fur was much better (I have some from then, and no kids or pets touched it so it's still in great condition), and their ornaments were gorgeous (again I've had some forever and they were pricey, but still perfect). Their candles, bedding, lamps, well... really most everything used to be better quality and more interesting. Most of their items now are just the same year after year. No innovation.
I do mix some wood (furniture items mostly) with more modern items, but again - why all the juvenile decor?? I see these items for maybe kid's or a teenager's bedroom but that's about the only area in my home I'd allow that decor.
Sure, just my opinion, but PB is obviously taking Christmas in a direction I just don't get. 🙄 With so many stores now giving PB competition - not only with selection, but pricing too - I say someone at that company needs a lesson in going back to what made them famous and successful to begin with and how to discern classy vs tacky.
Thank you, however, for taking your time to film the video. I am very grateful for people willing to do all that! And I'm glad for this PB video especially since I now can say I don't need to bother making the trip! 🤣 Happy Holidays to you and your sweet family!
