I'm over 40 and 😂think I'm the only one in love with the bottles because it continues on her "magic" theme and I wish she would do minis of the bottles so that I could afford to buy all of them.

I get what you mean I worked at CT when it was very burgundy coloured with glam gold in her packaging and it was heavy in the classy magic witchy vibe. Like we were all encouraged to wear black and wear things like lace and leather. It was like old Hollywood meet magic. And it worked and was giving high end vibes now it’s gone all Barbie and pink and Victoria secret-ish and I’m not here for it
Mini bottles wd b nice but the price is soo much I found £130 for a 100 ml a real hefty amount
I like the bottles. They appeal to my geeky sci-fi/fantasy loving side. But I appreciate you not being catty about not personally liking them. Some of the criticisms out there about the bottles have been downright mean.

I think they’re pretty! A pop of color here and there is unexpected and fun. I agree with Charlotte that they look a bit juvenile though.

Wow, a lot of things gone right here: love the discovery set, love the try-it-first, and love the availability of travel sizes. Great! I don't love the look of the bottles, but that is never a dealbreaker for me.

First off, your hair and makeup is bonkers stunning! 🤩 I ordered the discovery set after seeing Alice duParc talking about them and even though the bottles are silly, I’m excited to get my nose on the samples! CT used major perfumers to make these and so I’m looking forward to seeing what I like. ❤

Charlotte, you do an excellent job describing fragrances.
Wish the price of the sample set was redeemable, as many other fragrance houses do. Hope I can try them in store soon
I agree, the sample set should be redeemable again a full size bottle
If purchased from the CT website there is an option to return if you didn't 'love' them.
I'd do that then repurchase if I decided to invest in a full size item 😉

Exceptional review Charlotte, excellent descriptions across the board. I've just bought a Maison Margiela discovery set and I'm very tempted to try this set in the not too distant future, there are a couple in this collection that interest me.

My favorite thing about them (haven't tried them yet) is the bottles, I love colorful bottles! The note pyramids look a little boring to me, only because I've been into niche for a while now and developed a liking mostly for the weirder, non-crowd pleasing scents. However if I come across them I'll be happy to sample! Thanks for the review!!!

I was so happy to see this video come on. I adore hearing you describe fragrances. I’m going to try the samples. That was great marketing strategy. I’ll probably only purchase travel sizes as I don’t go out much so don’t really need full size bottles of perfume sitting everywhere. Thanks for this review Charlotte! Dear Charlotte, I waited for your review and will now order the travel size of cosmic power. I have massive problems with staying power of fragrances due to very dry skin but hopefully this has better longevity on me. Thanks for the review 🫶🏻🥰

You are fantastic at fragrance reviews! You had said that these videos are the worst performing, so I make it a point to click on every one that you do! What I find is that, especially in a ranking type, I get excited to try one or two. Excellent video, and hopefully they'll have it where I normally buy CT.
Charlotte, I already bought two after ur recommendations: BDK pas ce soir and Matière Première Encens suave! Slowly changing into my summer fragrances: juliette has a gun Musc invisible and Le Labo Neroli. I know I'm a little ridiculous and snobby but not sure i want to smell CTish😂 excellent review though. I woulld love a summer perfumes recommendations video❤ thanks again and u look gorge.

Thanks for this thorough review. I too purchased the discovery set and I sprayed each scent on some paper before trying one of them on my skin. The only scent that hit the mark for me on paper was Magic Energy, but it's too much on my skin. It actually dries down quite sweet. I really wanted to love these because I love the bottles (Harry Potter is right up my alley), but I don't think these work for me. Maybe I need to try the others on my skin but some of them (Joyphoria and Cosmic Power) were just offensive right off the bat on the paper.
I also love a fantasy vibe but something about these bottles is not quite as classy looking as I would prefer. Loved the review and would want to sample

Magic Energy 💚✨
I LOVE travel size roller tubes. I love love love them. So glad she made them for all her fragrances. I like some of the Valentino Born in Roma fragrances, but they only have the travel size roller in the one scent I don't like. Ugh.
In spite of the fact that I feel that the bottles are rather juvenile, I am 1,000% interested in getting the discovery set! I'm 65 years young, not into white florals, rose centric types of fragrances at all. In fact, they have the potential for bringing on a migraine and sinus issues. Those last 3 are VERY "me", though! If I can rock Tom Ford Black Orchid, YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche and Kayali Oud Tobacco, those last 2 fit that potent and complex scent family that I'm drawn to. And the 3rd place one is absolute perfection for our ridiculously furnace -like Phoenix AZ metro area May-Oct!!!
I had to order that mini set as soon as I saw they were released. I cannot wait to try them and I think my ranking will be the same as yours. I also avoid rose so it should be interesting. As far as the Harry Potter bottles go, they are so on brand with her line I don’t totally hate them. I think they are meant to be less formal and stuffy and more carefree and fun. Let’s be honest, the plumpgasm packaging is questionable 😂. Some people are very offended by it (minds in the gutter don’t see it’s a lipstick) but I think it’s cute. CT just likes to have a little fun with some of her packaging.

My fav is the green one. It.s the most original one. It remainded me of Amouage Lineage.
This is just Harry Potter in a package, and I love Harry Potter but don't want it on my dressing table 😂 I will probably try the samples as that's such a great way to try as a few sounded right up my street xx

I've just received the discovery set today, cannot wait to try it for myself, thank you for the tips Charlotte! 😘 I was most excited for Joyforia and Calm Bliss by reading the notes beforehand, will see if they live up to my expectations.👀 BTW I thought on the 6th place for you would be Love Frequency and on the top Cosmic Power or More Sex. 🤔💪 Almost guessed.😂

Thank you for this video and all the information given! I was interested but nervous about the bougie perfume and how they normally smell. I suffer from migraines that can get worse due to a fragrance.

Being the niche perfume snob that I am 😆 these perfumes filled with me horror but fair paly to her for using established noses in the creation of them (Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo have created for Frederic Malle which was the first house to give credit to the noses behind the fragrances on their bottles) the sampling availbility and prices are also pretty decent considering the creators. That being said the bottles make the perfume seem a million miles away from niche and the claims on her website are outlandish '84% agree that love frequency enchances feelings of love' being one of them (eye rolls)
In short I am so glad you have reviewed them, if I see them in store I will get my nose on them but I won't be going out of my way to try them and like you I would be mortified if 'More sex' was my favourite and I was asked what I was wearing.
I have seen so much hate for these, but been waiting for you to talk about them. I am not a big perfume person , I have some but I do love smells that help mood.

I’m a fragrance air head. I’m not big on fragrance but I for sure know when I don’t like one. I also know I like the clean smelling ones but I don’t know what’s in them that makes them that way. Sadly probably for everyone around me I just like the Paris Hilton one. I think it’s the original in the pink bottle with the stripes on it. I really like the smell of it and then I bought it when I heard all proceeds go to animal shelters. I’ll enjoy watching you try them and hopefully will learn something useful to find something more sophisticated. I’ve recently added back make up to my routine so we shall see if on fragrance.
I really like Paris' perfumes. I have a few of them.
I treated myself to all the 10ml bottles with my NHS discount on Tuesday lol cant wait for them to come :D

I think my favorite would be your No.1 choice, just because I like a perfume that contains musk, a very sexy note in my opinion. I don't care for florals, aqua, citrusy type of perfumes. On of my favorite at the moment is "Goddess" by Burberry.
I have no idea about perfumes and scents and how they are „build up“. I love my Dolce & Gabbana The One and my Chanel Coco Mademoiselle but I cannot tell why I like them so much 😁. You made me curious to try your top 3.
Those perfume bottles remind me of the fairy godmothers from sleeping beauty.
Sadly I cannot use any perfume at all. I haven't found a single one that doesn't give me migraines 🙄.

I love those bottles, it’s like a potion bottle! I think they are unique and I like them. But I love vintage! I’m curious to smell them in person, I guess I’ll have to make a trip to Sephora. I’m not good at picking fragrances online at that price :) 💋

I live in the Middle East and the ‘More’ scent reminds me of the smell of the locals here, they always smell wonderful. It’s a beautiful perfume but I do personally prefer the freshness of the ‘calm’ scent. I also agree with the rose scent in perfumes, it’s definitely overwhelming sometimes.

For me the bottles are on par with CT"s magic everything line😂. I am 42, and yes I also like a classic bottle. But I find these enduring for some reason- like they wake up an inner chemist in me😂😂
Don’t ask me where I’ve put it (all the fragrances) 😂😂😂😂😂 I did not know of the small sizes! That was a smart move only seen that from Kayali up until now…. ❤ now I’m on the fence cause I’m the girly that uses all those scents 😂😂😂😂😂 and love Harry Potter but it’s not in my whiteboard to have my vanity like that but we never know.

Yeh the bottles are a little naff but after your review I wouldn't mind getting the discovery set, I think 'more sex' will be my fave and yes the thought of saying this is toe curling lol! Great review xx

Calm bliss smells SO much like Replica beach walk. Like almost identical (in my opinion).
I could lay in a bed of roses and die happy. 😆 One of my most favorite scents! Patchouli, Rose, and Coconut. Those are the only 3 scents I can stand. I don't do fragrance really because I am sensitive to them, so I usually skip, but those 3 three, I love.
