Majority of us sneaker heads have taken so many L’s that getting a GOT ‘EM just makes our day. I doubled up in these guys and now I’ma chill on blue 1’s for a while.

Snkrs app been laccn on me out of 6 pairs only 1 "got'em" for me on the 6 PSG's but not for my Concords last year Infareds nor winter 12's plus a few more

Mike you’re 100 percent right. What you’re describing is consumer behavior-a part of marketing. Nike has spent the last 25 plus years learning how to market Jordan’s to sneaker heads. And the “got em” is just an extension of that psychology. By understanding the hierarchy of needs (derived from Maslow) they’ve learned what causes us to take action: exclusivity, limited releases, etc. it all caters to our desire to be first, affirmed, etc. Your example of going to school with new J’s has now been exploited by Nike and the other competing shoe companies.
