Good luck with the early coho i caught one yesterday at the first parking lot pool and caught and kept one coho and lost 2 coho and caught one on a brass spinner
Yup they are in there but the coho are lock jawed! I've heard more people catching Chinook than coho lol. Yes, incredibly scary river, kind of insane that it's legal fishing in some areas!
@@RosinFlyFishing absolutely! My buddy and I seriously shoved our faces in to the cliff side to breathe and catch our breath before climbing back out. So so close to falling. Brutal stuff. Looking forward to seeing you catch some! Come take a look at my channel! I’ve been out fishing a bit as well, you might like it 🤙🏻
@@RosinFlyFishing Typical out of province fisherman. won't even give you the spot. like he hasn't caught a fish for 3 years but feels he needs to preserve the location. The fly fisherman are pretty anoying on the river, all they do is get in your way or put the leader in a tree.
Funny you say that, I had a whole video segment about this that I cut when editing lol. Basically asking yall if I should destroy it!!! Maybe I'll make a short video about it :)
@@ZILTOID1942 that's what I've heard and mentioned in the clip. However on this weirdo canyon dam controlled river, I'd say these cairns aren't much of an issue since a single dam release does more ecosystem damage and it happens so frequently. But even so, it's definitely a message that most people just don't understand!
Did anyone have a wtf moment at 8.30; for someone who says they don't spey, that looked suspiciously like a snap T (although the anchor was a little short). 😊
05:11 the giant rock on the other shore is awesome. They didn't hit the flies at this time, perhaps because of the water temperature?
Yeah I'm sure this would be great for a float!!

Man, I had a close call trying to climb down one spot on the cap- you just reminded me, narly times. They should be in there now 🙌🏻

Hi Rosin just wanna know for the first spot in your video has the trail already been fixed so we can go down there?
Hey Bill I'll just say I did nothing illegal or dangerous to get to these spots :) hope that helps!

Awesome video!

Where are some good trout fishing more-so fly fishing spots in central Alberta or Alberta in general that you have caught lots of trout in
Kick that rock cairn over next time.

@Rosin Fly Fishing yea they aren't great for the ecosystem.

I'll have to watch back as I don't recall! Also this spot would probably be a good candidate for a spey!
I agree Ian!
@@jackofallfishing I just like barrel rolls haha
