I've been whining on about the mikes for a year. I'm with you about how nice it is to have them working. It changes everything. I am certain the mikes have been there from the beginning. They just haven't been used. If you spend a billion pounds on a stadium you should probably make use of all the facilities!

Levy hardly ever backs his managers with real quality players. It's always the cheaper option or one for the future. I can not see that ever changing if building hotels and racetracks is more important than investing in players with real class.

I presume you know that Ange is not a storyteller. He is a football manager who hasnt been getting the results or consistant performances over the last few months. He deserves time to get that right but please stop making out he is the messiah from what he says in a media room.

He gets his teams playing great football. Losing five matches in six is not going to be an obstacle to get where he wants to be with this football club.

I was expecting absolute carnage at this press conference BUT Ange seemed the most chilled and at ease he’s been since he joined, especially after the antics of mid week, speaks volumes for the guys mental strength and focus.

Been going to the lane with my mates as a season ticket holder for over 20 years. We all wanted to lose the other night nothing against the club team big Ange..etc We just knew that the game didn’t mean anything to us as Villa are never going to lose against Palace and beating City after recent performances very very unlikely..

I don't normally post anywhere, but holy heck I'm glad he's our manager. Middle part of his this clip he speaks so well about principles and morals. Well done!! I'll back you 100% going forward . I'm also slightly ashamed of my own internal thoughts on the game at the stadium.

Gotta say i am super impressed to hear a spurs fan say that they feel bad that they felt the way they did about losing this game, this is what i love about Ange, he will change the way you think, and lets be honest, that mentality has needed changing at Spurs, three managers in a row have all said it, wrong mentality, you changing yours just shows what he is doing is working. Aussies are pretty gritty, but they dont suffer fools, his attitude would have been - these City buggers have never scored a goal here, they aint winning today THIS IS TOTTENHAM !!! But the attitude of some staff, players and fans, would have shocked him - he says he got it wrong...personally i dont think he did.. there needs to be change at spurs.. and your comment is evidence that it can be done..

Both parties( Ange and the supporters/fans) have their principles and beliefs, best is to understand each other's perspectives . Understand his POV and you will see sense, it is really obvious. He HAS to be given the players HE thinks can improve the squad to level he wants. This has been the issue at the club for too long now. Managers haven’t had the final say on who comes in. That’s got to change. It’s the only way we’re going to progress.

From someone outside of your support base looking in... levy has done what he had to do, he had to build that stadium and its a large debt, but with Ange he does not care about expensive players, and i feel money is Levy's prime concern.. control is as well, you are spot on there- but if Levy is happy that the players are cheap, then he should let go of control, surely for the good of the club

The fans are not the biggest issue. Daniel Levy has said his biggest achievement is finishing above Arsenal. (Not reaching a CL final???) Same guy sacked a serial winner the week of a cup final. So Ange and the fans need to convince Levy to change his ways.

As a Spurs fan, I love Ange's positivity and he has lifted the club. However, Spurs keep on getting battered and he doesn't seem to understand defensive tactics and has no plan B. Love him to stay at the club though he does need to hire a defensive coach.
All in due time. I believe he does have a firm grip on tactics to do with all sorts of positions on the pitch. I won't blame it on the backroom staff we have had but some roles have got to be improved, whether it's additions or replacements. And it is also unrealistic to think that he can fix the many issues with the club inside and out in a single transfer window or season. We have endured worse.

You need to learn quickly.
Everyone harps on the high line as the issue but it's misguided. The issue is the final third, not the high line. when Sonny and Madders were clinical in front of goal for the first 10 games everyone's singing praises. The high line works when we are clinical in front of goal as it adds massive pressure to the opposition. Once we become impotent in front of goal, then yes the opposition can sit back soak up the little pressure we put on them until we make the error and catch us on the break. If we had a quality (Harry Kane) outlet up front things would be massively different right now IMO.

The system itself is not the problem. The players needed for this system on final third are not there . Son can’t take on players, Brenan Johnson can’t. ( Son and Johnson) need space but we’re playing very narrowly.
At the top of that kuluseki decision making is horrible.
Conte and Mourinho were both using the existing players qualities to win.Ange is bringing another system so if Levy doesn’t back him massively this process is going to be a failure.
If we have a good wingers Son and Richi can do the job in a striker position.

For me we seem to have better Penetration on the left with Werner and should keep him around, Dragusin seems solid with what seems like good defensive positioning but untested enough to compete with Micky and Romero.
